hello and welcome, have you got any pics or info regarding the ultra haze #2. i have been gifted a pack of seeds and wondered how hazey they are in their taste and high.

The Arjan's Ultra Haze #2 is a sativa developed by Arjan crossing the legendary Neville’s Haze with a Mango Haze plant and backcrossing with a Laos plant. The Mango Haze is a very well known strain from the Green House Coffeeshop menu, while the Laos male has been used in some of the most successful crossings in the Green House Seed Company.
At the 18th High Times Cannabis Cup it was awarded the 2nd prize.
The Arjan’s Ultra Haze #2 is a mighty sativa with very peculiar characteristics. Tall plant, it develops with a typical pine-tree shape. The lower branches tend to stretch out of the profile to reach the light and the internodes can get quite long. Nevertheless it is a very easy to bend plant, with a very flexible stem that makes it good for low-ceiling indoor growrooms. The leaves are very long, with non-overlapping fingers. The leaf structure allows a lot of light and air through the inner areas of the plant, giving even the smaller flowers the chance to develop into tasty, ripe buds. The flowering time is 12 to 13 weeks, with most resin development during the last 4 weeks. For this reason it is advised to let the plants mature fully before harvest. Like with most sativas, patience will be rewarded! The flowers are long and pear-shaped, with a high calyx-to-leaf ratio and heavy resin production; already in the 8th week of flowering the glandular trichomes will start turning mat, but new trichomes will appear well into the 12th week, creating a strong high balanced by a smooth body-feeling. The scent of the Arjan’s Ultra Haze #2 is very intense, woody yet fruity, very complex. Many expert smokers notice a prevalence of the Mango Haze fragrance in the scent, with the taste shifting towards a more woody, incense-like side. The high is very cerebral, social, uplifting and creative. The THC content is up to 22%, with high CBD as well. The CBD allows a smooth body-feeling that hits after the first 15-20 minutes, giving the Arjan’s Ultra Haze #2 a well balanced effect. At the Green House Seed Company we like to grow the Arjan’s Ultra Haze #2 in different ways, but to prove that the plant is very suitable for low-ceiling indoor rooms we produced a short version by giving 12 hours of light from day one. We took a rooted clone and planted it in a 65 liters container using rockwool flakes as medium. pH was at 5.5 during the first 2 weeks, then slowly raised to 5.8-5.9 during bud formination. EC started at 1.3 and went up slowly to reach peak at 1.9 in week 8 of flowering. After that we lower to EC 1.45 and the last 10 days we flush extensively prior to harvest.
The clone was immediately put on a 12/12 light schedule, and it stretched 60 cm. before any flowers would start forming. This way we obtained a plant that finished in 13 weeks and was 160 cm at harvest. It yelded over 500 grams of prime quality sativa.

well the bud shot at 12 weeks looks like it needs longer than 2 weeks to finish.

^^ that's what I thought, like it could do with the "with most resin development during the last 4 weeks." Franco mentioned, making it a 16 weeker.

16 weeks can be done with this strain, then you'll get it really ripe. Lovely......

The average flowering time is 13 weeks in the sense that after 13 weeks the grams are all there, and the resin and flavor are well formed. But I always agree with longer flowering, I love ripe bud.....

I think I grew a cross of this out.

MOD gave me some what I belive to have been AH#1or2 x Cinamon. Real nice smoke, the fuely Cinamon/JackHerer really came through which I really liked, and the spice of the AH.

Sounds lovely........ was it still hazy-high or more stoned?

Deffinately more hazy. One of those "without ceiling" highs where you can just smoke more and more and never have too much, great to smoke whilst making music.
