First harvest ever-Sensi star - Dried and Cured Buds and Stash - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hi everyone. I just registered a couple of days ago. My first couple plants I cut way to early and they ended up tasting like nasty hay. The others I just harvested a week ago. When I first cut them they had a real strong pungent smell. The smell kinda went away though as they dried...any idea why? Heres some pics after 3 days of being cut. What do you think?

i think you did a nice job. if you flush your plants, let them dry, and cure them, you should have the best smelling/tasting weed you can acheive. research flushing and curing if you havent already. possibly the humidity was too high while drying them.

Yes I flushed them with 6.0 ph water for a week before I cut them. They just got done drying and im going to start jar curing.

The taiste and smell ussally start to come back the 2nd week after cutting them

Your smell will come back, which you may have already noticed! When all the chlorophyll dries out of the plant(the green planty smell) the great spicy smell of sensi star will return! Nice grow bud! If you keep up like that, your gonna be a cultivating machine! Great strain! one of mt favs! Big time expansion huh?!!!! Keep up the good work buddy!
