Thanks for the heads up Bub.

I'd love to see Seedbay do charity auctions. Logistically it must be a pain in the ass I suppose... BUT... what is wrong with supporting those that support you?

is there some legal matter or something why seedbay can't do charity? i'm down to help bub out, we could get him a good lawyer, i just didn't trust them other fools and i guess my gut feeling was right.

I bet/think a partial reason they dont do the Charity auctions as much now is because back when Gypsy so gratefully offered to give money for Hurricane relief (out of his own pocket only!)people,children,punks/not any in the know though/said THEY sent money for the Charity and GN was rippin them

..Truth was he had other things on his plate and was just a bit late sending in the check and jerks were sayin he ripped them off.Thats another thing he had to put up with for helpin out,NO ONE repeat NO ONE that was accusing him sent money,they bought seeds from GN and he sent the money from HIS beans and HIS pockets.But man,there was alot of BS with people sayin he took there money

,lol,and kept it for himself ,so who would want to go through that?

.I sent some Bog beans to the one Auction site

and never heard a thing

,i would never trust anywhere but here to send the cash or beans,i just did it to try n help.Hope this thievery gets straightned out.Good thoughts to everyone in trouble,i would be willing to send some to SB or the Boo,but no where else will do.Peace and stay safe,DWW

Im glad to report Donvito has been banned from HG aswell as IC.
Earth has been banned about 3-4 times under different names from HG in the last couple daze (some folks have nothing better to do..lol)..

some folks feel bigger if they kick you when yer down... but sometimes the guy on the ground can get back up....

as for SB holding charity auctions... I think it would be good for each person to send a PM to Gypsy and DG. I know there are some legal concerns, legit one, on their behalf. but I think if enuff of the community pushes for ANYTHING with our hearts, we can make it happen!

I realy appreciate (more than words) all the support I get from my friends here. right now the forums all are I got left from all my work in the community. thats it..

Im going to sticky this thread for a period, as I feel it is important for it to be seen.

if GN or DG can set up an auction for you i have plenty of seeds i could send in, way more then i'll ever need and would like for them to go to good use, most of them would be from your skunk ibl....now that would be great if some of your gear could turn around and help you....peace

In the past I have tried my best to help out many who have been in need by organizing and running various charity auctions........But lately I have come to the firm descision that I will no longer be a part of any of them due to some VERY SERIOUS CONCERNS....

1. Who-so-ever claims to be in need often cannot come up with a real charge sheet nor any proof positive that they were indeed busted in the first place.....

2. If someone does come up with a charge sheet who is to say that the entity asking for a charity auction ( or their sock-puppets/friends) is really the person that is being charged?

3. If the actual person/entity/member was indeed busted, it is not unfeasable that that person/entity/member could be working for the powers that be to harvest information that might lower and/or remove the sentance/charge.

4. ICMag.....Seedbay nor Seedboutique are REGISTERED CHARITIES......and if they operate as such certain legal enforcement departments could incur penalties against these businesses and force them to be CLOSED!......so by asking for a charity auction/charitable act to occur on these boards you are jeapordizing every members participation on the site and also the exhistance of the site itself.........so don't even ask if you have the forsight to understand what I am saying here....

5. By asking for personnal donations to some fund or entity by P.M. you could also be compromising individuals security by getting folks to send mail e.t.c. that could have finger-prints upon it to some adress.........as we know all persons inhabiting a certain country across the pond have their finger-prints on file and a piece of mail usually has a stamp upon it that discloses the location that it has originated from.....

.......DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR FINGERPRINTS(by mail),NAME,ADRESS OR LOCATION to ANY entity on these boards........DO NOT EVER POST TO OR GIVE OUT AN ADRESS OR REAL NAME IN A PERSONNAL MESSAGE........that message could be sitting on someones compter somewhere with anyone having access to it....

....it is better that we all know each other thru our annonymous nicks on this secure server, and for absolute security do not communicate our real identities nor locations even if you think that you are being a caring person and wish to contribute to what you may percieve to be a charitable/good cause...........for you may be completely wrong and fall foul of a CONFIDENCE TRICK!..........

............So TAKE HEED and remember this.........We will NEVER EVER run a charity auction again, not because we are not compassionate........not because we do not care.......but simply because there are too many possible security risks involved that could ruin completely all the hard work many of us have put into this site and others over the years and secondly but not least charity auctions/acts of charity could indeed get others busted ........
