Hey y'all: Hmm...first smoked 1970. April 1st it was...and I am still a fool. Anyone out there remember the Brotherhood down Laguna Beach way? We lived close by, usta go on down every weekend and pick up $10 dollar lids of decent commercial, quarters of Afgani "Surfboard" Black Primo, and "Orange Sunshine" barrels. Whooee....4th of July every weekend...
Hell, not surprising that the car keys still get misplaced occasional like.
Gotta say tho that the best weed I ever smoked was a bud (just 1 small one) of some stuff called "Wacky Weed". A friend brought some back from a rock festival in Puerto Rico called the "Mar y Sol" festival ('72). Wow! Two hits and I thought I'd been dosed! Trippin my ass off when I crashed 30 minutes later, woke up fuzzy brained next day....Ha ha ha....good stuff. That's all I can remember for now.....Peace

That " Orange sunshine" was amazingly strong stuff back then (understatement) split it 4 ways and it still was ass kickin'.
Munch a whole one and wait awhile, peak and then eat another one. That system worked out well. More than a buck a tab and you were paying to much.

Back in the day a lb of mexican brick went for $60 dollars,where I lived then, (border state), on up to as much 85-90 bucks if you were gettin' stroked. It was very sticky, and I don't mean gluelike. Major "stemmage" was normal, couple oz's of garbage before it was ready to bag up. Half the weight or more was seeds usually. Sinsemilla I don't believe had been invented yet. :(

I remember when Sinsemilla first started showing up, about 80-81 . (thats when I first saw it) anyway it was way way better than anything else going around. (at the time in my area,you eighter bought 1/2 oz or a lid of columbian or- if low on funds- commercial weed) Anyway , as soon as sinsemilla came around, the price of pot doubled overnite. and you could buy a 1/4 oz.

my math sucks, but, i'm 45 i was 13 my first joint,,,oh my god i just did the math, at this smoking rate i'll be in depends afore ya know it!!aaaaagggggghhhhhhhhh and my memory doesn't fail me my first joint was cloumbian gold bud! it sold for 40 dollars a 14 pound god i miss those days. just did more math, damn that was 1972, all i can say is thank god for pink floydd! and columbian and windowpane to hell with barrel acid!
