CFLs for a good price on eBay
Never posted on here before but i've been lurking around and learning tons. I'm starting to piece together a rubbermaid microgrow and bought (12) 23 watt 2700k mini cfls for $18.00 shipped. I plan on using some Y-adapters and two of the home depot vanity fixtures for a possible 276 watt grow (may make it less depending on heat issues.)
something like this (looking straight down/up at the lights. the little dots being the bulbs) ]<: :>[ ]<: :>[ ]<: :>[ https://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZ6801goodbuyQQhtZ-1

Cool.
You can get 125w Envirolites for fairly cheap nowadays, and it would take away all the unnecessary complication of the Y-adapters (not that cheap) and the extra space required. Plus you'd probably get a bit better efficiency on the light output since you don't have all the clutter... |

hmm being a full time student i don't have the opportunity to shop around different stores. looking online it seems like Envirolite is primarily an UK thing? with exchange rates and shipping they seem to be alot more expensive (1 bulb being more than twice as expensive even before shipping).

Those 2700k's are better for flowering than vegetative (which does better w/ 6500k light), in case ya didn't already know.
