how do i use ths to calibrate my ph meter...and do i use the whole package or just a little bit?

those are designed be used one time and one time only...

pour the contents of the pouch into a plastic cup...not glass, glass can alter the readings...then follow your instructions on your meters for specific calabration procedures.

i needed somehting cheap and fast to get the ph meter goingright so i can figure out what to do next to fix my plants

the one time calibration pouches are great!! Let us know what readings you come up with.

btw...most pens don't need to be calibrated with the 10.0 solution...some only use the 7.0 some use both the 7.0 and the 4.0...depends on your meter.

ive got a hanna meter....i thknk it has directions on how to use both...but im thinking the 10 and 4 are to double check..so thats always good...like cal. it with the 7 then put it in the 10 or 4 to see if it says 10 or 4 respectivly....right?

...if you are going to have two setpoints, you would want them to preferrably be the two ends of the spectrum of what you would be testing...We don't test anything more basic than 7.0...hopefully, so there is no need to calibrate to 10.0 The pH we read find in our reservoirs are between 4 and 7...thats why I recommend using the 4 instead of the 10.

i used the 4 and the 7...so its cal. fine

i also had run off from yesterday in a bowl and tested that just to get an idea of what it woudl be...ill test again tomorow when i water them...but it read 6.9....so not too high...but could be off from sitting overnight
