When my seeds from SB never came because my money order got lost in the mail I was a little bummed. I had been looking forward to trying a few of the strains. Since I had to wait at least 30 days before canceling the MO I decided to plant some bag seeds I had saved from almost a year ago from what I was told was Sour Diesel. Know I have smoked the real sour diesel while I was in Amsterdam so I know what the finished product is like but I have no idea what it should look like growing. Maybe you guys could even help me to identify this strain. I have since canceled my money order and received my money back and placed an even bigger order to SB but was smart about the shipping this time. Anyways, on to the grow. I like to start my diaries on the day I flip the lights to 12/12. My setup is a 48"Wx20"Dx72"H cabinet I bought from Lowe's with a 400w HPS light and a ghetto air cooled setup with a 630CFM 6" fan. Everything is ducted through a carbon scrubber and I also have a small ozone generating fan in the cab for smell and circulation. I decided to change my grow around a bit from the last time and decided to go with buckets this time instead of the rubber maid tubs. I also went from 4 plants to 3 because I just ran out of room last time and I think it made all of the buds a little smaller than they could have been. I do love DWC and thought it was pretty easy for my first grow but I'm looking to grow some monsters from this. These pics were taken the day I started 12/12 which was actually about a month ago....I will try to update this thread tomorrow with what they look like now at week 3~4. I did end up having 1 male and the other 2 are ladies. Any questions, just ask.

Any takers on trying to guess what this strain is. Like I said I doubt if it is really SD and there is a lot of romulan floating around this area so it could be that possibly too. Either way I can't wait for my SB order to arrive and get back to some quality genetics.

Well I think I am gonna call this week 6. Like I said earlier I am not real big on counting days. I just look at the trichs and decide if they are done or not. That being said I think I have about 3 weeks left. Both buckets were completely flushed and brought back to a 900ppm for the last time. I'll top up with just plain RO water next week and then completely flush with plain RO water for the last week. The smell on these plants is starting to make my mouth water. I'm not sure what the strain is but it will definitely be some good smoke (and hopefully BHO). I also just got my order from SB so I'm excited to have some real genetics back in my cab. How do you think things are coming along?


I managed to get a few shots of the biggest plant away from the glare of the HPS. Just look at the size of this beast. For a scale, the bucket is a standard 5 gallon size.

Well.....here is the update for this week. I normally like to go with a 2 week flush but I don't think I have the time for it this go around. I flushed with plain RO last night and I think they need another week. Looking to harvest on Christmas Day hopefully. I'm not seeing much action on this thread so is anyone even reading this or am I talking to myself?
