Dutchgrown,a question about Neville's

DG,I know you were growing F1's when your crop was taken and I just wanted to know if you ran into ant of the wispy buded Neville's in the F1 generation.I have several tall pheno plants that refuse to fill in although the calaxes are coated with trichomes.

The plant I used to make the F3 was dynamite in power and flavor. The strongest pure sativa I have ever smoked.Soaring psyscadelic high.Over-indulge and it will make you feel out of place and time. The kind of high when you walk in the grocery store and every person in the building is staring at you!INTENSE,I realize why you hold it so dear to your heart.
On these wispy plants, they have a wonderful haze odor, but just refuse to fill.I know it will still be good but absdolutely no bag appeal.

Did you have these in the F1 generation? They seem to be taking 16 to 18 weeks to finish.Do you think it's just a haze pheno shining through.Being that I am in the F2,anything is possible, but I have 8 of these plants out of 18 females sisters. They only show in the tall pheno's.
Do you think it's just a haze expression? The odors are out of this world!
Thanks for taking the time to read.......................CC: wave:

Hi Capt...well, over the years I've had my share of the schwaggy wispy phenos as well coming from F1's. All of my F1 generations came from Neville's stock. Neville advised to chop those particular pheno's if they went beyond 14 weeks with little to not much bud development, especially if looking for good breeding stock. This is an undesirable trait for breeding, however, the potency is like you say phenomenal so into the bubble bags that sort of stuff goes. Unfortunately Neville was never able to stabilize NH, so anyone who attempts this super sativa must realize that those wispy sort of phenos do happen....but to what degree is anyone's guess.

They can usually be spotted early on by their fast stretch. They tend to be the ones that grow with very wide open internodal spacing. Although the aroma is quite intoxicating and they usually have more than ample trichomes, they simply dry up and look like tumbleweed.

My advice is to use it for hash and start over with another seedling.

Yes, it is a haze trait...actually, too much haze.

Almost forgot....here's a couple NH buds for you all:p

This is what NH should look like after proper drying and curing.

I really need to try some sativa..

I hear so many great things about pure sativas, I'm hoping I'll be able to find some really nice sativa smoke when I visit A'Dam. DG I'm sure you have the hook ups hehe

I tried to do some Jamaican Lambsbreath indoors in my small setup but the crazy summer heat/humidity forced me to cut the crop early (45 days 12/12 to be exact). Surprisingly the bud still smokes well, very smooth, with a nice taste...but the effects are mild and not very long lasting. I do notice a nice euphoric feeling though and not so heavy munchies which is a nice change.

Those Nevilles's haze buds are beautiful DG. And Capt. that cola is gorgeous even though it is quite wispy like you say, the hash from her must be out of this world as she does have ample trichs. Just not much body to it..oh well I'm sure it's headstash of the finest quality.

take care all you sativa lovers

Thanks Dutchgrown

And everyone else that responded.Yes DG,They were all the ones that had the major stretch. There are a few that have an excellent odor so I decided to let them finish. The one I used for the F3 seeds was a short pheno and it filled in about like I expected. It was the one I have smoked, and it is absolutely unbelievable. The strongest sativa I have EVER smoked!PERIOD,for a sativa nothing comes close from my point of view.It will leave you mentally stunned!Like I said before,it will make you too HIGH to go out to the store because paranoia can set in especially if you overindulge!:( I love that spicy bite. When my wife walks in when a taken a few hits, she asks, what's that wierd odor? It's almost hard to tell it's a cannabis smell it's got such a spicy bite.I love it especially the first big hit the way it almost sucks the air out of your lungs,a very strange experience.Almost like you were breathing some kind of vapour that your body didn't recognize and tries to expell. Very cool indeed!
The female I used for the F3 had twice the resin as her closest sister ans she stayed short with almost PURE sativa traits.I will never let this plant go unless something happens:( :( ??!It will soon be in someone elses hands for safe keeping just like I did with the Superfruit .(after 10 years)Dutchgrown,My wife and I are going to try everything in our power to attend the 4/20 and we will send you several samples beforehand. This has nothing to do with the SF samples that are coming, they will be done very soon.Just a bummer that I ended up using all 3 of the SF plants I grew for seeds. But mostly on the lower branches,so there's plenty for samples.(A generous one at that!)
I would send you a neville's sample but there was less than a half ounce after seeding it.There were 4 branches and I pollinated the 2 smaller ones.I will send you some when I harvest more,I have about 6 rooted clones of her to mess with this go-round.Knowing that it is of the shorter pheno,I can grow it some before flowering.

Take care everyone...................... .CC

The F3's should be at Seedbay by tuesday!
