Hi all

im growing original haze x skunk #1 and 24 hrs after i placed 6 seeds inbetween wet paper towels the first of the seeds started to crack and 24 hours after that the first of the seedlings started to pop up. They are being grown in coco with ph adjusted water to 5.7

the following morning after the last pic was taken the plant had produced its first set of leaves and im using this point as Day 1 of veg and each pic represents a day of veg. The flash on the camera discolors the pics

day 5 of veg and i am now feeding the big seedlings on 1ml of canna A + B and the smaller ones are on .5ml/l and they are growing under a cfl

im going to veg them til the 6th node then switch the lights to 12/12 so i can sex them ...then put the lights back to 24/24 until they have matured before flowering them. They'll have to get topped to control the height.

a friend is also growing this strain and he is going to give me his females as well so i should have a good selection of mums to choose from. Obviously, im looking for a haze pheno

Awesome I will be watching this with interest since I am doing a similar grow from him, SADP X Skunk. Looking great so far!

I've also got his Old School Thai Haze x Skunk #1 but im not germing those seeds until the ohxsk#1 go into flower because i am limited in space.

I suggest you do not force flower. Force flowering can be stressful and as such leads to the rise of more males. Your plants will tell you when they are ready to flower by showing you their preflowers. This typically doesn't take that long, usually 4-6 weeks. Also, how many CFL's are you using and what is the wattage and spectrum of them? Also, a pure haze or just a haze pheno can take a long time to flower, upwards from 9-13 weeks. You may already know this but it's just some info that other growers may be able to take. Hope your grow is successful.

cheers for the concern but if any show lady boy traits i'll just bin them...the ohxsk#1 should be ok

The Thai Hazes will go 130 days+

i wont force flower them cos thais are known for hermie traits.

they are being vegged about an inch under a 200 watt blue cfl and here is a couple of pics of the ohxsk#1 at day 8

hey dude, lookin good so far, but get a fan in there ASAP, they look a bit too spindly.

Hi Heirloom,

they're meant to look like that they're sativas lol. In 2 weeks times these things will be HUGE....they love to stretch their legs. You get smaller phenos with real close internode spacing but any that look like that will be binned immediately cos im not after skunk phenos

i started to germ the Thai Hazes last night and 2 beans had cracked when i got up this morning so they'll get put in coco when i get in from work tonight. These will be even stretchier when they get going hehehe

How much height have you got?

Growing to the 6th node (

) is not a good idea with OH in the cross unless you'Ve got some serious headroom.

Probably safest to top after the 2-3rd node and sticking the cut in a glass of water under the 24hr light to show sex, and leaving the main plant to veg. Should show in a week and then you know which ones to transplant in bigger pots and stick under 24
