Experience with Mr. Nice

Greetings all,

I have been reading up on Shanti's work. I have formed some opinions on what would be the easiest strain to grow from Mr. Nice. Anyone who has grown these strains out. Tell me a lil about them, and your experiences with them.
I have walkabout, and Medicine Man already. Thanks all...

Btw my nest pick to go is SSH...

To start with SSH is not the easiest plant to grow. Medicine Man is a good choice. Shark Shock would be a good choice. Anything with Haze in it can be tricky to grow, so if you go with the SSH, expect a few problems the first go-round. peace

shanti has top of the line genetics, but torc is right. you should grow out the medicine man for your first run. you will get good results without too much craziness. any haze-dominant strain will be a bit tricky to grow, especially inside. good luck!

thanks...

Thanks guy's for the help. I will stay with the Medicine Man. Especially since it should help well with a chronic pain issue I have. I will still try to get the SSH, but I will put it on the back burner gor a bit. That is till I get a few more grows under my belt. Thanks again, and happy growing...

Hey TORC, and H & L....

Have a question for you guys. I am currently finishing my next run. I am going to be using the MedMan for the one after that. I usually like to have beans for round after next ready to go a few months before. Understand, or did I not say that right? I am looking at either SHIT, or EQueen. I like what I see with the shit, but am leaning at the moment to the EQ. Any ideas?

I think if you want a (skunkXafghan) high yielder, easy growing strain you would like better the Critical Mass not the Shit

The Early Queen is a great plant I loved my 2 EQ clone outdoor. My CM outdoor plants started to flower (and finished) before my EQ plants!!

the CM was harvested on Sept 22th with amazing results. the EQ later in early Oct (5th-10th) with also good results

I would try this 2 strains ..but I'm sure in that the Shit is also a high quality strain ..but I prefer the CM if you want this style (skXafi)

peace & love

Thanks New Grower,

I have been interested in the CM. Tho' I did not think of it in the sense of being an early finisher. I will check into it a lil more, and see what I can come up with. I do appreicate the info my friend..peace, and happy new year..

Btw as far as the high. Did you like the Cm, or EQ better? Which one would you recommend for the medicinal side? Thanks again...

hi Dekab!

Both strains has very strong smell & very good appearance. The CM is the strongest weed what I've ever tested! the EQ is also potent but something very different.. more fruity & enjoyable. I prefer the CM's very strong high so I think it could be better for the medicinal side.

I would rename the EQ to Diamondhead! Nice egg shaped buds all over the branches ) the dominant strains in this 3 ways cross are the Super Skunk & Early Girl (I couldn't see any Early Pearl influence on my EQ clones) What I see: Early Girl stem structure with egg shaped/sized Super Skunk buds (whitish buds with a lots of brown hairs with a deep smell)

The EQ grows more bushy than the CM (and produced more buds) but the CM had much bigger buds (so easy to see the afghani influence). The CM grows Christmas tree style (with horizontal side branches). the EQ "grows to the air" (vertical growth) ..a lots of main stems are running to the air loaded with full of (egg sized) diamond heads (lots of main stems with little or no side branching)

The CM is afghani dominant! very productive plant with early finishing ..the afghanis are usually starts to flower 2 weeks earlier (outdoor) than the skunks (and finished 2 weeks earlier

The CM got stronger (Sun) light at the end of the flowering in mid-late September than the EQ plants in early/mid October. I enjoyed the CM's finishing time&results a little better than the EQ.

The CM buds on the surface looked like granulated sugar. The buds colours were bright yellowish (not greenish!) I think it caused by the very strong Sun in mid Sept. (very afghani looking buds not skunkish)
a little more leafy buds than the EQ but the CM is better strain than the EQ at overall (in my opinion) ..stronger.

there are language limits but I hope that I could help!

please feel free to ask!

Regards, NG

Hey New Grower,

Sorry if I sound ignorant, but by language limits do you mean you do not speak Englisg Well? I found your post to be quite informative, and well written to me. I greatly appreciate the info. It has helped me quite abit, and actually made me feel like I will change my decision. Since I already have the Med Man seeds. I will go with the CM. It sounds like what I want. I think I will also try to pick up some EQ, but will run thru the CM after the Med Man. Btw that post was awesome. Went thru, and explained alot of those strains I asked about. I couldn't have asked for a better description. Thanks again, and Happy New Years my freind...peace to you, and good growing...
