a month or so ago i posted on here an encounter with what i thought was gritweed...after relaying my experience to other smokers i know i received some disturbing responses. either we are getting paranoid or we have a grit epidemic in major Ontario cities as well.
various sources have shared recent experiences with suspicious buds and one was helpful enough to send me a bunch of pics he took through his 40x microscope. He provided 2 different samples in the pics. One is confirmed to be grit (iron fillings, possibly glass also). The first pic shows a metal shaving, this one was apparently obvious and visible to naked eye upon closer inspection. What do you make of it? he thinks there could be glass too. The last pic is another metal shaving which was more evident after washing the bud for 24 hours and then drying. The second set of pics he sent me are what seems to be easy to find right now, hopefully you won't think it looks suspicious, but we need better eyes. Looking up-close at trichs is new to the both of us and we are lacking confidence in our convictions. PLEASE HELP! What do you guys think? These were the best pics from what he sent me but there are many more in the Grit album if you care to take the time to look. ALL your input is MUCH APPRECIATED. |

Beware of the new contaminated cannabis in UK, no grit is obvious , very stealth contamination but the bud when immersed in water turns a strange brown/red with white powder floating in it, keep a look out for this stuff guys, grow more and dont chance buying on the street

This kind of problem is prevailing all over the world and no one can abstain from this. But especially whole EU is facing this problem.I am also the victim of this .I don't know how to deal with that.

if you ever come to germany... please never buy weed on the street!
in most cases you get shit like shown in this thread. most it's contaminated with "brix plus" which isn't too easy to identify. absolutely disgusting that there is a product which is only developed to contaminate cannabis - and it's used very often (here) :( this is why i began to grow my own... |
