Strains: White Rhino -bonsai- (Nirvana), Quick Mist (Rez), Romulan(Federation)

Set up:

Flower

150 watt hps, 172cfm 4" vortex, 3 feet width x 3 feet height x 18 inch depth dresser.

Veg

Just under 80 watt floro. The mothers will be kept under 40 watts floro (I only need 3 cuts from 2 mothers every 40 days (6 total) )

Soil, nutrients

The regular nutrient course will take place with Grow big, big bloom and tiger bloom.
Veg - Light warrior soil by FoxFarm.
Flower - Haven't decided if I'll use Light warrior or Ocean Forest

Plan:
I have 3 Quick Mist plants in the flower cab right now, but they're vegging... along with my bonsai white rhino. I will flower all of them in 1 gallon grow bags.
During the time they are flowering, I will be turning my clones that were taken into mothers (hopefully I got at least 1 female) and training my 3 Romulan sprouts (Just cracked, will be put into soil tommorow.)
I'll take clones from the new QM mothers and Romulan, then flower those.

Also, I'd love to hear about how the 4" Vortex is working for you. Is it very noisy? Are you able to maintain stealth? Is the 172cfm sufficient for cooling a 150w hps?

The vortex works great!!
It is kind of noisy, not exactly the stealthiest fan... I'm not using a speed controller or anything though.
All I do to maintain stealth is keep another fan in my room on all the time to overpower the sound of the vortex.
Yes, the vortex is sufficient!

Originally I wanted to use a remote ballast, so I wired it like that... I ended up just keeping it in the cab because I couldn't find a good place for it.

They went into their 48 hours of darkness before flowering last night at 6PM.
I'm hoping that I get one male from the quick mist, those 1 gallon grow bags are too big for my cab to keep 4 plants in there... There should only be 3 MAX.
