Do any of u guys know if this is an old strain?
My friend has been growing 'Pot of Gold' since the mid-late eighties, he said it originally came from a breeder in the city of Groningen (Northern Holland). Its great outdoors with very little mold and hard-dense buds, he crossed it with a Mexican somewhere along the way but the phenotype is still like the original.

So u think that PG is not a Flying Dutchmens' hybrid - maybe and why they say about hawaian in pedigree or it is just a mere mistake ? My PGs are in 23rd day of flow cycle - so I'm not sure about buds, but leaves are just as mine PG's - a little curved up leaf edge and mid indica/sativa look and color of green.

Hi Malawi, im sure that the Pot of Gold in his garden is not from Flying Dutchmen's stock, ill have to ask how it behaved in early generations to see proove of the hybrid theory. Maybe the name just got recycled for this new TFD hybrid, though I can see some similarity between this old POG and the TFD POG. The budstructure is outstanding, it looked like she was fully seeded while she was not, I have never seen it like that on an outdoor plant. Resin was dense also but the smell was only faint fruit/skunky.

Maybe somebody from TFD would know more about this story, the line my friend has is a pretty stable IBL (zaadvast) by now. His stock came from the 'Tevreden Rookster' in Groningen as he told me, maybe he bought a knockoff F2..I dont know. TFD was in bizznizz also by that time but im not sure if they carried the POG. Ill visit him soon enough and will get some dried budshots if it didn't get smoked already

It would be interesting to see some more POG pics & goodluck with ur grow

This Hindu kush x skunk1 came from cut out of oaksterdam grown indoors in hugos . Extremely easy plant to grow and hardy without any trace of mold at the finish ....

Below is a single plant topped once with two nice large colas ...very resinous & spicy aroma with dense nugs & above average yield .

this looks like its worth the buy any way you cut it I think I will run this after this grow woth some northern lights
