Somaui BREEDING - G13 Haze - Hawaiian Sativa Indica: 20% Sativa: 80% MINIMUM YIELD 25 grams ~ FLOWERING 12 - 14 weeks Somaui is available... Somaui is a sweet blend of Hawaiian Sativa X G-13 Haze not recommended for amateur growers. This strain takes 12-14 weeks to finish. Thick white hairs are seen while the plant is flowering which gently turning pink when finishing up. The high is very uplifting and good for socializing and the smell is like sweet flowers. The buds come out long and thick with a slight airy texture, hard for bud mold to form and easy to manicure. that's my guess....... |

I have a feeling that scince the med club refered to them as "soma" and you said you have been growing them for a little while maybe they could be related to the Soma Super Skunk. I am taking care of a variety I rescued from my ex-girlfriends seed collection that she left in the netherlands when she moved back to the states. She labeled the seeds "Original SomaSkunk 2000." When I asked Soma about this, he said it was most likely what was known as soma super skunk, sss, and that the name was changed to Soma ? or something like that (I am not sure about this). What I do know is that it is a parent to many of the varieties and looks similar to the strain in question. The only obvious differences I notice are that the somaskunk phenotype I have, has wider leaves and doesn't turn completely purple like the one picture you have of the purple leaf tops, that looks like lavender although the leaf shape is a bit different. The Bud structure and "day 53" pics look similar to my SomaSkunk. Maybe it is a combination of Soma Varieties? Or simply has the lavender or somaskunk for one of it's parents as do many of the strains I am working with. I have witnessed Purple leaves on an outdoor Somaskunk but it was just highlights not the whole leaf purple as in the one picture you took, I have only seen that with the lavender and rockbud(the amythist is purple yet has a way different leaf structure) The reason I think it could be the somaskunk is because I have seen indoor versions with very dark green leaves that could theoretically turn purple if they got cold. maybe Rockbud? thought the only rockbud plants I have witnessed in that stage of growth were less than a foot tall because of the space.

What is the smell like? If it is somaskunk it should have a really strong skunki smell with maybe a hint of rose perfume or, one that I had outdoor and gave kalong guano, fish emulsion, and sea kelp smelled a bit like skunk combined with a pineapple compost pile.
