Tub Growers Unite! Megathread!
Welcome to the Tub-Grow Megathread!
I noticed that there is a growing group tub growers on the site these days. I am one of them. Many of us have followed Red_Greenery's Tub example with his help. I feel that there are enough of us on here to make a worthy thread about anything micro-grow and tub grow related. This is a place to talk about good strains, yields, improvements/innovations, tweaks, and anything else tub related. Asking questions wouldn't hurt anybody either as long as we all try to answer with the best of our ability. Related Links Red_Greenery's Tub Thread <- Heavy with tub info - Must read before asking questions PM me with links to topics on ScrOG, LST, and related information. I would like to see this grow as much as possible. Also I will attempt to compile a FAQ sooner or later when I have the time to do so. Items currently witholding completion: Ducting, Activated Carbon, Plexiglass/Clear Shield, 42 watt CFLs and my Sweet Tooth seeds. I'm growing bag seed dright now, but it's looking pretty grim for them. Hopefully the ST will arrive soon and I can get on that ASAP! I wish you all the best of luck! You could do a massive single tub perhaps, or just do one plant in a single rubbermaid. That would be great for very short plants like Low Rider and would probably make for a nice SOG.

We put out a new tub every 15-20 days. Each tub is 24x30. We throw 15 or so girls in there, veg them for two weeks, then flower.
This is jsut for filling open space and making it possible to taste more flavors, quickly, without long veg times. more pics to come. they looks to produce between 5-8 zips a tub. |

Two questions. What is your lighting situation? Are those clones/cuts or transplanted seedlings?
I it looks very nice if I do say so myself. I think SOG is a good idea if you have an ample and readily avalible supply of plants, but for those who are just starting I think ScrOG is a better method to use. I would like to use SOG later on, but first I need to build up a seed collection and until then its ScrOG for me. |

is this a sativa pheno? im wondering if you didnt plant them too close together, as they seem to be stretching to compete for the light... just wondering.

i'd say in all honestly sog is easier. both do better with clone's. with sog you dont spend alot of un needed time in the grow room. just veg a week or two then flower. i personally dont like doing traning that requires string. or a screen. ive never tried scrog before. im assuming it's quite time consuming. normally when i want a bushy plant i just supercrop aka HST or high stress training. i honestly dont know where they got the high stress from but it doesnt slow growth any more than topping does and gives you alot more secondary growth.
