Blue Thunder grow thread
Thought I'd start this thread as I'm seeing some nice things from this strain and someone might be interested. Still a beginner but I'm getting there with help from some fine peeps here on ic.
I got these beans in early 2003 and stuck them in my desk and kind of forgot em. Anyway soaked em in phd h2o w thrive. All popped within a day. Tranfered all to jiffy pucks. To cut to the chase 7 survived. Believe it or not they showed there sex while still in 18hr grow at 5 nodes. I got 4 girls with 3 left after helping a friend out. 1 special girl has bluish purple veins on the fan leaves and slight purpleing. I used flouro early then vegged w 250w mh. They've been in flower w a 600w agro sun red sodium for 5 days now in a 2 x 4 ebbflo w 6x6x7 pots filled w hydroton & lava rocks. I'm using gh floura nova and fulvic. I will be changing to pure blend and floura nova at next res change. Something I read about on one of CC's posts. Only problems I've had is some curling under of leaves. Here are a couple pics. 3 plants on left r BT, on the right are clones I picked up at a club, BB & HI. So far I'm very impressed with the veg growth and color. Never heard of Blue Thunder, sounds good though. I love anything with Blueberry in it. Whats the background on that one?

Blending the proven Blueberry and the famous Matanuska Tundra turned out to be one of our most flavorful hybrids. This combination produces flowers containing the flavor and aroma of Blueberry with a slightly larger cola-diameter. Some individuals will lean toward the respective parents, so the farmer can choose specimens with personally desired characteristics, making her an excellent hybrid.
