Ik heb besloten dit jaar geen nieuw gewas te planten. Ik rook minder en heb nog wel voorraad.

Ah! An old friend from days long gone! Welcome, glad to see you again!

Sorry for my late replly. Hope you see it.

I been very busy this summer. My girlfriend has cancer and went to chemotherapy. We are noth tired and tried to enjoy life, which means, not spending time on forums much.

she didn't take much marijuana to fight nausea. Only a couple of timesbecause frankly, the regular medication worked almosy excellently!

Zofran i think it was and if she felt any nausea coming up, Primperan.

She had some trouble sleeping and used it twice to get to sleep, that worked well.

She has breast cancer and it spread to the bones. So that is not good but the chemo shrun k the tumor almost completley away and they seen no activity there in the x-rays. So now she gets a hormone therapy because the tumor was hormone sensitive. So, pills every day.

it may sound strange but although I am happy she took the chemo well and the nausea was succesfully repressed by conventional medicine, this was of course an excellent oppurtunity to test marijuana in cancer treatment up close and personal.

So, this is why i have not been around. Lots of worries, trying to stay positive, I haven't even smoked much to keep my head clear and focussed. Only now and then to really unwind.

to me smoking the herb is somethign I do when I already feel up. And there was not a lot of up time, not the careless up-time. I used it a few times to sleep better.

So marijuana has helped a bit for us both but more as abckup system.

It makes me wonder what the fuss in america is really about. yes, marijuana may help canvcer patients...but the meds we got werre so damned good! Yes she has some nausea that broke through it...but it was endurable. But my woman, she is strong really, really strong!

Now we are aiming to enjoy life and try to leave it a bit behind, you know? Hollidays are coming, we try to enjoy it.

The doctors aren't even interested in bone scans and MRI's. They say that won't make a difference dor the treatment and that they won't be able to distuinguish what it is they see, metastasis or what is left from that.

So uncertainty remains. Will it spread? Or not? We focus our intent to use our minds' power to attack the cancer. And we hope we alter reality this way, this is what we beleive in. Mind over matter. We eat biological food when we can and she has a diet and a range of supplements, prescribed by a well known Dutch doctor/biologist, lots of antioxidants and specific cancer stoppers.

So that is the deal.

Hey man, sorry to hear about your girlfriend and her illness... Thumbs up for the way you two seem to be dealing with it, staying positive. It's so easy to get absorbed by the misery surrounding you and it takes character not to become overwhelmed.

I've had close relatives die of cancer and I'm very pleased to hear the medication is working well with your girlfriend. I agree nutrition can play a big role in this and I'm trying to be a little pro-active myself as well by drinking "rooibos" tea and pomegrenade juice which are rich in anti-oxidants. Cancer makes you realise how brittle life can be sometimes.

All the best wishes for the future and I hope your mental strength will contribute to a full recovery. Take care...

Well, things are looking good. she is in essence cured. We beat it back by staying very positive and taking the 3 way approach. The chemotherapy of course, staying positive and orthomolecular supplements. The tumor was inoperable. We were looking at total removal. But we decided we had faith in the combination of alternative medicine and general medicine. And ti worked. She ahd a 1 in 10 chance of surviving this because she also had it spread to her bones.

Yet she lives. A little cancer is not gonna hold us back!

I am sorry to say I didn't feel like growin on my balcony this summer. Too busy anyway.

So I was thinking of doing a new grow op this fall. When it doesn't look too strange when you have light on in the dark days. I of course blind the lot but when you open doors to be mesmerized by your green field there is always leakage. But I have grown for many years now so...it will be okay.

I should come back more often then, to learn and read and share.
