It could get very stale air in there, not good for the plants. Maybe just use one with the lights off.

I leave mine on all the time, doesnt matter.
It´s and ´enclosure´, and there´s a living thing inside.
I think of me inside it. I would need fans.

when lights go off humidity goes up...so ventilation when lights are off is very important unless you want moldy buds

Plants breathe at night for sure, not nearly as much as during the day light (photosynthesis and such), but they do need air. Try putting weather stripping foam between the fan and the box, should knock that vibration sound right out.

it's not real important to leave the fan's on. but if you use a tv for example to mask the sound of you ballast and fan's running during the day it would be no problem to cut the fan's off when the tv is turned off aswell. you gotta think how little these plant's actually breathe. they dont even make the air move.

yes but again when my lights are on im at 50 percent humidity when they go off its up a minimum of 25 percent....this is why unless you have a dehumidifier you better run your fans at night....peace

You can turn the fans off at night. Fans in a greenhouse are not used much at night.

I don't run fans at night during veg. However during flower i need them running and unless you live in the desert i would Imagen you do too. I tried the other day i think i was at about 55% humidity during lights on and when i checked the next day the humidity had reached a peak of 90% during the night with no fans.
I didn't always use them and i got away with two harvests alright without but got budrot and lost a couple of oz so now always have them on.
I don't no about you but i find if i turn them off it starts to really stink up the house too?
good luck with the grow!

I have never run fans at night in my growbox, closet, or ...closet. hehehe not necessary but if you want to do it - it's not a bad thing. I just didn't like the noise all the time
