Ok, normally i'm posting in the hydro section. Well, i got a problem and some of you might have run into this before. My mother NYCD plant i way to big for my box. She just keeps growing and she just can't fit in the box anymore. So, i'm going to bud her out and see what i can do in soil. I talked to BOG about her and i was told to cut her back and veg her for another 10 days and switch her to 12/12 and thats what i'm going to do. I'm also going to take the cutting from her and root them and fill one of my Ebb&Flo tables so i don't waste any cuts. This means i'll be doing two runs of the NYCD. One in soil "The Mother" and one in Hydro "The Cuts". Here's were i stand as for today. Got all my supplies together and getting ready for th transplant on Thursday. Got a bunch of supplies coming in and i'm waiting on more net pots for my cloning machine. Here we go

1. Here is the soil i use and it's from Wal-Mart and is a Organic soil. I normally use the Sam Choice but have moved over to this stuff, because i grow my seedling in this stuff and they like it.


2. Here is the soil all mixed up with Blood and Bone meal and Perlie. The soil comes with perlite, but i like to add more. Nice and dark soil


3. Here is the container i'm using. Is a noraml pickle pail from work with 1/8" holes drilled through the bottom for drainage. Also a water catch disc


4. Here is a picture of the holes drilled through the bottom of the pail for drainage.

Ok, here she is and she will get the hair cut on Thursday. This is what she looks like now, since i've pulled her from the box. I think once she is cut back like Bog has told me. She will do really well. I'm just hoping those stalks beef up, because i know what she produces for main cola's and they are hugh. Here are the pictures.

Thanks, friendlyfriend but i did mix in some blood and bone meal into the soil as i mixed the perlite. Do you see that small ziplock bag in the picture. That is the blood and bone meal mixed together before i mixed it into the soil. I'll be using Cal-Mag pro to fight off any problem with Mag.

She going to be a nice monster under my control. I'm hoping for 6-8 main tops out of her, with some really nice cola's. The nice thing everyone is going to like about this thread is her color. She puts out a bright red, purple and blue color troughout here leaves in budding. Very pretty plant she is in flwering. The buds are hugh also, so i'll be very happy about her. Just alittle worried about cutting her back. I know she'll be ok and all, but cut plants bcak make me freakout. Will see what happens on thursday then around sunday i'll post new pictures and see the new growth.

Ok, I got most of my running around done this morning picking up my suppies from the UPS man. Had to pick up more Garden Safe Organic soil, since i didn't have enough and here she is all tranplanted. I'm in the middle of finishing up my cloneing machine and once done. I'm going to cut this small tree back like BOG said and veg her another 10 day then into 12/12. I'm going to flip her on the 1st of Aug. All cuttings are going to be placed into the new cloning machine i built and then vegged for alittle while till one of the table comes open. All cuttings are going to be used, so please "NO" PM's asking for cuts or clones, because all are spoken for. I'll post more pictures after i cut her back around 2:00 EST today.

Thanks HOG, I got her cut back alot and it should help with the harvest and support of the buds. I'm going to veg her till Sat the 31st of this month and flip her to 12/12. I'l give here 70 days and she should be done. She's been vegging for a long time and should start flowering pretty much right away. It will be nice to see what she will do. I'm hoping for that much and more would be nice. I'm sure if i let her go a good 70-75 days. She will yield really well will some very big cola's.
