Speed Queen Smoke Report... - Mandala Seeds - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

hey there fellow ICers...

this is somthing i have been meaning to get around to for a while now,,

i grew out Mandalas Speed Queen earlier in the year, out of the pack of 10 seeds, 7 popped, most likely due to my germination methods,,, but anyway,, out of the 7 plants i ended up with 5 lovely females...

right,, on with the smoke report,,,

the flavor of these buds after a good jar cure reminded me somewhat of dark morrocan hash,,, when u smoke a joint, or burn up a bowl of this bud it has a really strong spicy aroma to it....

i harvested these plants at different times,,, i chopped one at 55 days,,, and the rest i took down at 62 days... i must say,, the plants that were given 62 days were much more to my liking as far as the buzz went,,,,

the buds from the plant that got chopped at 55 days were somwhat milder than the girls that were chopped later,,,

one joint of the buds that were chopped at 62 days and they had me plastered to my chair happily gazing at whatever crap so happened to be on the TV at the time!!!

IMO there is no greater feeling that being knocked on ur ass after smoking some top quality herb,,, and SQ done exactly that !!!

another great thing i found with this strain, when smoking out with a couple of close freinds was the good old giggles!!!

god knows how many times my mates and i found ourselves in fits of hysterics after a few joints of this herb,,, and 99% of the time we had no idea wtf we found so funny,,,, i hadnt experienced this feeling in years from weed... i felt like a newbie smoker all over again!!!

anyway,, i would recommend speed queen to both new and experienced growers,, as shes definitely a treat to watch grow and is pratically maintenance free,,, and the smoke is top notch to....

thanks so much for this amazing genetics at an affordable price Mike!!

cant wait to get these HBs started.... ill keep a diary on here on their progress when the time comes...

Excellent smoke report.

Do the 62 dayers still retain the "daytime" high, as the smoke report on the site suggests?

i didnt think so,,, the plant that got chopped at 55 days was more of an "anytime" weed...

the 62 day buds knocked me on my ass with a really heavy body stone... i guess that this was due to the late harvest....

u should be happy with these girls goatnuts,,, growing them out was a doddle,, and both the yield and quality were exceptional...

nice report...your grow report was the reason i ordered my pack....i have them sitting here just waiting to go outdoors next spring!

i got a pack of them as a freebie for being the 1st to get a guest pass for the cup that didnt happen (thanks alot you f@#*ing douchbag POM) anyway i think i may move them up the list i miss the good ole giggles after smoking and it might make a good cross with something

Do most people use screens inside thier glass (refer to pic above)? Just curious cuz I never have used screens unless it is a metal pipe. Also, I'm not tryin to hi-jack the thread or be a smartazz, just wondering if I need to try using them in my glass. I do get a bit of stuff in my mouth when by bowl is freshly cleaned, but the resin holds it in place most of the time.

SQ sounds very interesting. I have HB on the way & will be gettin more from Mandala if I like this one so I'll add SQ to the list of probables. Thx for the report!!
