airmail a bad idea?

Hi --

I sent my payment (cash) just the regular old way... airmail. This is how I always have done it and had successful "landings" every time. It seems like people are thinking this is not the way to go (too easily stolen, etc. etc), from various threads I've read. Also, the "trackable" methods weren't available or really talked about before in the old seedbay if I recall. Is it offered now becuase of a high volume of "missing" payments using regular airmail?

Im thinking most of the recent bad airmails are due to seedbay themselves giving out the address without the street number on it when they recently changed the intake address they made the auto auction win email and forgot to put in the street address:

S.B.N.
Unit 415, Reaver House
Epsom Surrey
KT17 1HX
UK

they forgot the 12 East Street...

NOPE- I sent trackable without the addy add and no problem. SInce its been up, I've had no airmails make it- for whatever reasons- I would send it express or next day only to avoid the air mail problems!

I've had success with a M.O. and airmail 4 times so far from us west coast, about to try a fifth.

Make sure to include SB userid, auction #, and remainder of requested information.

If you have to send a lot of cash or big MO, try breaking it up to increase your odds.

Meaning since the V.2 has been back up again as of this august. I've not had good success with air mail. I had bad luck with it at the old address before the change. Since the change of addy, I've had no problem with express mail in which I included the east st. and didn't include it- the express mail has got there no problem eveyr time.
