There's a member here that has one of the old skunks, can't remember who it was. We were talking about the old skunks that were around in the late 70's and early 80's. You might do a search for skunks and then go through them. It might be alot but you might find the thread. If i remember it or find it, i'll post it. I remember we were talking about how bad the shit stunk in a good way. The stuff i had in about 82-83, you could smell through two feezer ziplock bags about 10-15 feet away. The shit stunk like nothing i've smelled in along time.
Good luck |

Well, when I think of Skunk and old school...one name comes to my mind....Sam the Skunkman....considered the father of skunk by many as he was the one who introduced skunk to europe back in the 70's.
There's a few of his orig's on seedbay now....like, Orig Haze x Skunk#1 Skunk #1 x Orig Haze Early California x Skunk #1 Early Thai x Skunk #1 Hindu Kush x Skunk #1 Hawaiian Indica #7 x Sk#1 x Sk#1 ........ just to name a few. dg |

Smokin some as we speak. My dad has been friends with a fella for 20+yrs and we call him the skunkman, hes kept same strain around for over 20yrs. Anyway dad calls last night and says you gotta come see this, so I drive over and what do my eyes see but a large sack of last years outdoor skunk
. It has lost just a bit of flavor but that skunk lung punch and wonderful high are right there ( second only to LSD ). Could probablly get a cutting but flowers to long for me.

Old school Texas skunk, that's the ticket.
We used to get that in the early to mid 80's. Couldn't even keep it in your pocket, car, or room without smelling like a polecat. Giant coconut beans, sticky, gooey, dark musty buds, that literally smells like a skunk. We've been looking for the resurected beans ever since. Tex |

Let me know when you find it, because you could smell it 10-15 feet away in two ziplock baggies. That stuff was the best and i truely miss it. It's so werid, when growing up with that bud. There was tons of it around and would be the best seller. Then years pass and other stuff float around and your thinking. Fuck, i wish that skunk was still around or i had some of the seeds. The stuff i would get had seeds in it and wasn't to seedy but you got a nice bunch of seeds from the 1/4's. Long gone

Wow...Tex that sounds just like the bud Gypsy and I smoked recently in Spain which came from the spanish breeder that we have his seeds in the test grows....Skunk Concept.
It smelled sooooo strong that one small baggie stunk up the entire hotel suite. I rolled one joint to take with us out somewhere and had it in my purse, it reaked and I swear I can still get a whiff of the skunkiness when I open my purse up even now! Let's all keep our eyes on the Skunk Concept....it just might be what you're looking for. Anyone growing that one....take note.....better have some GOOD ventilation in place when those ladies start smelling up! dg
