Hello all. Been lurking and learning here for the better part of 2 years. Been growing since I was a teen back in the late 60's. I registered a couple of days ago to soley to tell you Mike that your Hashberry and Speed Queen seeds popped right up. 100% germination planted directly to soiless mix. I make my own organic teas which I use only sparingly. 96w of T5 lighting to start, then to 400w of cool Eye hortilux MH which is where they are now. The KISS principle has always served me well and your seed seems to like it as well.
That being said, five each of HB and SQ (along with five each Godberry and Dream Goddess from MOD) were planted 9/24. I like the looks of them. Hope to do you guys proud. *Now, if I can just manage to post a pic or two*First two are HB, second two are SQ. edited to say thanks Mike.

Hi!
Great to have you on board highroller. I have to give you credit for these happy & healthy plants. Totally agree on the KISS method...you can't go wrong with it. Keep us updated if you can. The photos are good quality too. ;-) Cheers, Mike

I'll post a few as they progress, but I like to keep to myself as far as that goes. I get a little paranoid and so far (30 years or so) it has served me well I think. I'm just so impressed with your forum and the active role in which you take in it that I just wanted to let you know. Also the genetics look top notch and the prices are refreshing to say the least when compared to other breeders. Experience is telling me so far that these plants are going to yield well (very stout stems). Mebbe not the initial grow (I let them stretch a bit too much), but the ensuing cuts always do better. I'll pick my favorites and have a go at 'em.
Anyhoo, that's about it. Hopefully I'll find something to compete with my GDP, Sensi Star, and other mothers which have been works in progress for years now. Cheers, hr. |

Well, 2 HB and 2 SQ have gone to the dark side , but this trifoliate has just sexed female today. Don't be fooled by the yellow tint, she is a vibrant green. The hps together with the flash from the camera gave her the weird coloring. Does the trifoliate characteristic become insignificant/unnoticeable once the plant changes to alternating phylotaxy? I have yet to flower one because they have always been males in the past.
