International Money Orders and Seed Banks
Hello Everyone. Well i ran into a bit of a dilemma today. Went to the Post Office to get an international money order. Lady at the counter asked me what country I wanted it for. I told her the Netherlands. She said they dont carry them for that country or the UK or any other European country. She said it was when the euro came out that screwed everything up. They also dont carry them for the euro's. I also tried a few banks and they just didn't sell them.
So i wrapped cash in carbon paper and mailed it away. Question is where are you all getting your international money orders? I was reading about people going into wal-marts and grocery stores and getting regular money orders. This is OK? Thanks for any help Peace LBG |

the post office lady/clerk is confused by the "exchange" rates most seed banks will convert to U.S.currency value to complete the deatils needed for the sale to happen which s why they're in business!! the problem w/ post office money orders is they verify your identity when u purchase M.O.s there (security risk anyone!!) sending cash has its risks but cash is "fluid" and leaves no "trails" to the sender BUZZ!

I never had anyone at the post office ask me for id when I handed them cash for a money order. They want your money. International Money order is just that international. You can get them at the bank as well with no id.

I go to Wal Mart. Lately, I use my credit card. Citi Bank has started charging a differential charge to compensate for our weak USD. My last order was for about $70 and the charge was like $3. I have used a CC for my last 4 orders (never over $100 in case US Customs wants to be an asshole.)
I only order from Gypsy (SeedBoutique) and Doc Chronic. Great service from both.

dont get your money orders at the p.O. they will ask ?s instead just go to anywhere that western union is... almost every grocerystore or convenience store on the planet.. and buy a MO there.. the most on one I think is 500 dollars or 3000 and you give your information. just buy more than one 500. oh yeah they cost .99 cents everywhere.

Do you have to sign the back of a money order? Or fill it out at all? Or can you just leave it blank, with just the dollar amount it's for printed on the front?
