Thumbs up

True,
Ya man you should be fine. Just as you said, the best thing to do is cut away the moldy pieces and dry the rest of it. This kind of mold is different form powdery mildew in that it is maily brought on by poor air circulation in VERY large buds and with any thing organic if you give it favorable conditions it will mold.

Where somthing like powdery mildew is another story that shit is evil and it will kate over your whole garden if you let it.

But you should be be in no danger of having a mold problem exect that one plant.

Good luck.

sorry to hear about the bud rot man. Sounds like you need a de-humidifyer in there, but even with a decent one you could still get the rot (it happened to me with SweetTooth#4). The best way to stop this happening is to top/train your plants so the bud mass is spread out, instead of just concentrated in the main cola - so lots of fair sized smaller buds, instead of one huge one & loads of little'uns. good luck

Reduce humidity to 40% and put a fan on them. Low temps in dark period can cause moisture probs also. I never had a problem with my skunk, mainly it is the White Widow that will get the rot.

For later grows, if the humidity gets bad again, raise the temps. The hotter the air, the more water it can absorb. Make sure the temps dont get too hot, though! L.V.
