Question about Seedbay - Seedbay - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

I mailed in cash a week ago to the address emailed to me in the "auction ended emai"l form seedbay (the address included 12 East Street) and no confirmation yet.
Here's my question:
I filled out a piece of paper with the information needed as stated in the "auction won" email and sent it with cash. The problem is the information i sent in did not include my seedbay username. I included my real name, shipping address, auction number and title, but not my username. How much of a problem will this be?

It shouldn't be a problem really.

You just won't get a conformation message from seedbay once your order is/was shipped.

Please send the missing info to Seedbay 'via email' only....to support@seedbay.com

Including your member name IS important, otherwise it will hold up your order. The member name MUST match the winner of the auction/buy now. Otherwise anyone could just write down an auction number when perusing the site and send the payment for it without being the winner. Then later, someone does a buy now on that same auction number. This is one reason SB shows all buy now or bids as 'private'....only the winner's member name is known on SB's end of things which keeps others from being able to send a payment for an auction that isn't theirs.

Long story short.......yes, it is imperative that the member name be included with payment. If it was an oversight and it's already in the post, then best send the info via email to the support addy.
