The legend of Sweet Blue
I posted bubble pics but I have never posted plant pics on this board from the first round of joint projects, the magical Sweet Blue. Stinky sweet, crystal dipped and a kick all of her own that has made her beloved by many a local pot snob, more than one person has said it is the finest pot they have ever smoked. The massive yields and stand out high have also found her a home in the gardens of some die hard cash croppers who normally grow 7 week flowering strains despite her 11+ week flowering time.
........and the bubble hash is kinda magic to. |

Perhaps....once again you do this great strain justice. We just grew out another round of these ladies and the bubs is sweet! Those last shots should be titled Step into Sweet Liquid!

Perhaps, those are some amazing buds. Do you feel that this bud is fairly representative of this cross? Was there alot of variation in the beans? Finally, are they really all 11+ weeks?!? You're killing me...
![]() Again, obviously some amazing genetics grown with an expert hand. Octavian

Thanks Red, she has certainly won the battle for hearts and minds in my small circle.
Thanks Octavian, apart from one that went to around 90+ days and was probably the most representative of the mum, this was the longest flowering of of seven females. I would say she can be picked between 65 and 80 days but she is still filling out at 70, there was one in the batch that finished in 55 days and the rest took 65 to 70.This cut takes a bit longer but she is worth every second. Thanks TORC. |

....and apart from the longest flowering they were all very similar in taste and effect with the one I picked having the most discernable omph and kick.

I agree Sweet Blue is an awesome strain. I split a pack with a friend when they came out and got 2 females. Both were dripping with resin, they looked wet. Smell is very pungent, but more on the skunk fruity side. Not recommended for carrying around b/c everyone will smell it. The taste is great too it has a dank berry insense(sp) thing going on that coats your throat on the exhale. Taste and smell are very complex like Trainwreck. The smoke from a bowl leaves the room smelling like insense (sp)all day. I have had several veteran smokers say it's the best they have tried and I agree. The flowering time was 80 days, but well worth it b/c the yeild was good. I will try to post some dried shots in a few day when my gf camera gets fixed.
