Cornucopia Plus Nutes - Check it out!

The overall summary of the product can be seen at the website, here. The line consists of four parts. Grow, Bloom, Formula X, and Dr. Thomas' Necessary Plant Energy.

Grow
Bloom
Forumula X
Dr. Thomas' Necessary Plant Energy

So far I've been going by their recommended dosages, first 1/8 strength, then 1/4, and I just did a half strength feeding today. There hasn't been any nute burn, and the plants are looking great. I know there's been threads about this line before but nobody has really used them so nobody has anything to say.

I talked to the people that have taken over this company, the man that came up with all this died recently. They seem very genuine, but they could just be good salesman. Aparantly this line is "the original" and the others tried to copy it and weren't able to get the same results. Lines like Flora Nova's, and others that use a Grow and Bloom type thing. I somewhat doubt they're all just trying to copy this, but who knows?

Are there any experts around here that can take a look at the descriptions or ingredients and have some input? What exactly do the tricarboxylic acids do? If you need some detailed shots of the labels I can get them up shortly. Here's my lineup...

I have used the Tricarboxyilic acids before...supposedly they work like RNA does in an animal body. I am neither a botanist nor a zoologist so take it with a grain of salt.

It supposedly fuels all the plant's metabolic functions...sooooooooooooo, it is a good thing.

They are also supposed to help stabilize your ph in Hydro...I used the stuff on my last DWC run and I had no PH stability probs whatsover. My yield was massive...but the buds were fluffy. I think it was the strain though.

Alright, here's the specs of each bottle

The NPK numbers don't seem to be like the other nutrients I've seen, how's that going to have an impact?

Yeah, I was wondering the same shit.

So does it work like GH 3 part?

Is X like the micro? The NPK's look strange...also they are different on the website.

There's a page of suggested dosages and stuff, gimme a few minutes and I'll type them up

I'm following the Sample Program, 4th paragraph down. I don't think I'll be using the Formula X, I only got a little sample bottle of it. I'm going to be putting them in 12/12 in a few days now, so I think I'll give them final watering of the Grow, full strength, and then from then on switch them off to the Bloom.

When you use very pure source materials you need less. There are several nutrient lines out there that are developed using lower NPK ratio's. In most cases it is a sign of a quality nutrient product, but not all cases.

I tried it...didn't get great results. I wanted to, I like the guy...and like many nutes out there the marketing angle was intriguing.

But my only gauge for nute usage is simple. Does it work at recommended rates (or fairly close) or not. I found...not!?

Good luck. I have also found that there are plenty of nutes out there that other people seem to have results with that I have tried, and bombed with. I don't have much patients for imbalances or deficiencies..!! If something doesn't work I drop it like a rock!
