Hi,
since im growing g13widow, im interested in the origin of g13. There are so many stories about it, and all of them sound a bit unbelievable.
So perhaps somebody (shantibaba?

) out ther knows where g13 comes from, and who was the breeder? Perhaps somebody knows the parents??

It seems G13 is somewhat of a mystery as far as strain lineage goes. I know that I read that The original G13 was smuggled out of a government growing facility sometime in the 1980's I think. That's all I know. Hope it helps some anyway.

I knew a guy in the early eighties who claimed to have stole the cut with a few of his military buddies. He told me this story way before anyone had even heard of g-13. He was in the airbourne as a paratrooper. He jumped a parachute that didn't open and he hit the ground and bounced three times. So after that he only used mj as medicine and no pills. Believe it or not???

I dunno- the g-13 I knew wasn't "airy" at all and produced more than an ounce per plant (more like 4oz indoors and a pound out). And it didn't smell like poop and piss as the author says. It was very earthy and had a unique pleasent odor.

I smoked G-13 back in like 92 or so...it was $100 for either an 1/8th or for 1/4th..I cant remember. All I know is that it was really green, and really potent. Very long lasting and trippy.

Great for pain as well because I got in a fight at a party after smoking with two brothers, I dont think I even got hit..I know I did, but didnt feel it. I kicked their asses. he he he...

Where I grew up it was available as a "kind" deal for 70 a quarter. From like 1988 to 1994.

I was watching the Grow Show on Pot.tv when Marijuana Man interviewed Mel Frank. The subject of the G-13 came up and I think Mel Frank was trying to imply that he somehow had a role in it. He had given seeds to a friend at a University to check the levels of THC content and the THC % of the plants from the seeds Mel sent was higher than what the laboratories were testing before... but the subject changed without Mel finishing the story.
