My Little WWxCali-O Story
Ok so my buddy decides he is going to order seeds from Nirvana and gets me the Cali-o Bud. Well he also gets another friend of ours the White Widow. This kid vegged these things for 2wks and was calling me to take them because he could not handle them anymore, they got to big (lol, Stupid kids growing when they still live at home) He germed 10, I got 6, 1 was female. I kep that WW Fem and crossed it with a male Cali-o to help peserve $90 seeds. I have about 30-40 seeds off the crossed plant and also around 100 Cali-o seeds that I made with my 8 Cali-o plants I sprouted.
Background info: All organic soil grows for 3yrs now Self construcred wood grow box 4x2x4 (2) 250w HPS So I vegged out 10 WWxCOB F1s and got 4 females, 3 look to be 1 type of pheno and the 1 looks a little diff. I picked out 1 of the males that resembled the p1 WW, Short and bushy as hell, and I have kep him alive incase of crossing back. So this leeds to my question. Whould anyone suggest doing any specific kind of crossing to continue the WW traits given my situation? I will post picks soon. Last edited by icky420; 10-07-2007 at 09:13 PM.. |

ok Here are some pics of them at 3wks with 2 showing preflowers...
I didnt get to good of a fem to male ratio.. 4 Fem out of 13 seedlings

Alright things are looking great. I have recently passed on a female so now I have 3. I toped them all once around the 7th node. I have used my own style of LST to reach this point. I'm thinking these plants are a bit WW dominant.
 But some other leaves look indica.  I switched them over to flower about 4 days now and they are puttin on a heavy bud set. I'm not used to so many calyx, growing so quickly, so soon. So here are some canopy pics of the ladies.(they dont look to happy because they needed some watering)

Ok here is a little update...
I have found out through the help of the community that I was underfeeding these beautiful ladies. Could you imagine that, someone UNDER feeding. I guess I was to afraid to burn them and also didnt want to over feed in general since I learned I had done so for the last 2 grows. They are not looking to good, but are blowing up in bud production. I will be posting new pics soon.

Nice cross, and thanks for the photos. I have been interested in doing the same thing. I have a Nirvana Cali Orange Bud female, and a Greenhouse White Widow male.

I cant say there is any smell to them yet unless you rub the buds, then its a faint citrisy smell. Heres is a close up pic of one of the plants.

Smell report...
I'm starting to smell them when I am in the box. One that is really looking WW is starting to smell straight like oranges. The other two just smell citrusy.
