Some questions about strains
Hey Mandala seed company! I've got a few questions about some of your strains. Looking at your different strains, I *think* hashberry or speedqueen be good for an outdoor grow. But, I'm looking for a few main charectoristics that I couldn't seem to find in my research about your strains. I hope you wouldnt mind to answer some of my questions.
Does either hashberry or speedqueen have a pungent smell that can be smelled from a distance away (any stage except drying/curing)? What's the thc % of the strains? say I do 18/6 veg, how long would you recommend to veg them for to keep them at below 4ft? sorry if these are nub questions. but, we all have to start somewhere right? not that i intend to start, these are all hypothetical questions

Mike is the man to answer these Q's but i'll give my 2 pennies.
Speed Queen: normal stretch; just less than double the height when induced. Ofcourse from seed you will have different reactions from plants than if they were flipped as clones. hashberry: this girl really got big on me. Consider this though. She started in the ground durring a Northern hemi winter bloomed at about 4 inches tall and made it though to spring where she got a full season of vegging before the stretch. Again i would say the stretch is "normal" just under to about double size at flip. I have yet to smoke the SQ. But as ive stated in other threads TODAY. The hashberry is a mellow pleasant smoke. plenty of potency and totaly drenched in crystals. great joint dope. But equally tastey in bongs. Havent vapd it yet but i plan on it. Hope this can hold you over till Mike chimes in. Best, OL

Hiya OL, you have some great feedback there. What thread are you referring to with the SQ? Don't want to miss anything!
@ idontgivenames: which latitude are you at? That will help to see if you should veg indoor and when to plant out. Both Hashberry and Speed Queen stay low outdoors and tend to spread out rather than stretch until infinity. Perfect for low profile grows. Smell is normal...they are not stinkers. If you just have a few plants there shouldn't be any noticeable smell unless you get quite close/rub them. We don't run lab tests for THC so I can't tell you a number in %. Rest assured everyone is happy with potency. Mike

That sounds hot and humid and I guess you have little variation in daylight length (12 hours?). That would mean they will go straight into flowering if you take them outside from the indoor 18/6 cycle. If you veg SQ up till approx. 14" they should remain below or at 4ft outdoor. This strain also responds well to toppping in case you prefer a bushier plant with slimmer colas to reduce the risk of mold from high humidity.
