Txopin´s mini grows...sog+sog+scrog!
Hi !....
This was my first " not big " grow.... I grew 3 clones ( at mid flowering period I was only with 2 because some male flowers appeard on one clone and I put it off from there )with 5 x 18 ( 60 cm long ) w fluos during 2-3 weeks,and in the second week of flowering I added 3 x 20 w. of cfl´s of color 827. All this was done in a 55 x 40 cm. so it wasnt a very small place at all.......I was beggining in growin Janes so I had errors and errors.... I did it some years ago ! I have some pics that resume what was like the scrog ! Here they come : Clone 1  Clone 2 Clone 3  Guiding.....  More....  Yieps.......here it grew!  Vegging period.....5 fluos for the place    Branches.....  Medium view  10 days switched 12-12......Flowering !!

 Starting to flower  Two buds  Other one :  One clone whit its buds    Mmmmm.....good appeariance  One full of bud clone manicurated  They were resinousss  And that´s it.....2-3 weeks vegging 48 days flowering........and you´ve got your good shit to smoke jijiji...... Saludos ! |

Very nice, any idea on yeild?
Also.. How does it smoke? I have been wanting to start my first (serious) grow soon and have wondering if I should just do a strictly fluro grow from seedling-harvest or go the extra effort/price and get a 150watt HPS. I always heard that fluro grown lacks density and potency. |

Hi !
Yield was 51 gr.,not much,but if I had the 150 w during all the flowering period I would have yield something more...the weed was really good and potent......they came from some indica nivana clones I had time ago.... I´ve proved 150 w. grows with fluoros and hps,and I do believe it´s better fluoros for growing and hps for flowering... I think the best for you is some cheap fluoros,not much in w. to mantain some little mums to give you lots of clones.....and a 150 hps to flower them using sog or scrog.. I prefer the results I obtained from hps in the buds,its true in my case that they are more dense compared to fluoros buds,but in resin they were both things quite similar..... Hope it can help you the info......Does it cost you much a 150 hps there ? Here the bulb is 9 euros,and balast around 40......but it´s expensive compared to 400hps,wich you can get for 55 euros ready to switch....! Saludos ! |

thanks for the nice show of pics .. 51 grams is a pretty dcent yield also for 150w of fluoros.

Hey...!
Thanks for the kind words,Makavellian and High on the Cronic ! I think I will post some more pics of my other grows,a 150 w. sog and a 250 scrog,but with hps !! Hope you like them aswell-also.......( I dont know how to say it)... Bye for the moment......stay calm......and peace! Saludos ! |

Hi......!
The next grow I´ll write about is my 250 w SCROG......done this last summer with temperatures outdoor around 38ºc.....and in my indoor were around 34ºc,but with a not very low humidity things didnt went very bad. Here is my cross......it´s a plant from seed wich vegged for around 2 months.....It gives purple buds.......typical in Nirvanas best genetics !! I´ve got 3 pics here,day 30 of flowering period....Grown in a 1,1 L container and coco. Hope you like it people ! Near the buds....the ones from the back you can see them purple,I think  .......Really good buds for me,and more being my cross !! General view of the entire plant....pretty full for 30 days in flo  Saludos !! |

Nice buds! i am def going to scrog next round, my main light is 400w so not so micro but i am rebuilding my veg cab so thought would look in here and i am glad i did.

nice little tube grow. i actually have 4 of those 60cm T8's sitting on my desk, i might make a cab similar yours. what sort of ventilation did you use, and where did you cram in the cfls for flowering?
