I see that the old SOL seeds are offered on the bay. Why are their none of the new strains?Blubonic(sick),ogkush x bs2,bs2.2,sweet blue, etc? We all know breeder steve as one of the coldest breeders in the game. Will there ever be any available?

I hear he is re-working plum bud and a few of his older strains.. would really like to try some of his gear.. the original shishka is in my top 5 smokes. doubt we'll ever see him at sbay cause he and gypsy didnt used to get along, hopefully that has changed.

he's been working on mini-clones or something like that..Something about putting out elites and other in clone form...
Was supposed to take a month or two...I think that was about 2 years ago..

yea, I remember tha thread on CW, never heard anything further. fact remains he is still putting out crosses and they cant be found at s-bay for the time being

The mini clones probably wont happen. Him and Chimera were doing that together last I heard and I know they had a big falling out. As good of a breeder that people say Steve is he calls a lot of people out on the internet rather then face to face and so he has a collection of enemies. Anyways good luck to him in his new ventures.

YEah that shiskaberry #4 was some of the best herb ever!!!

I would think that with time being short and life erratic, chaotic, fragile, one would not have time to get that mad at people places and things. One day you wake up and a loved one or pet (catz or dawgs) may be dead. So let's all keep things in perspective.

A few years or so ago Steve made a private sale to Gypsy of SOL seeds in bulk (there were Swt #3, Swt #4, Blockhead...and perhaps another variety, I'm not real sure). He also sold Gypsy his 'regular' stock, clearly marked in SOL packages. An order came in for Swt#3, but there was no 'breeder packaged' stock in inventory at the time of that order....Gypsy was in Morocco and not reachable, so an employee (later fired) took it upon themselves to fill the order by taking some stock of Swt #3 (from a small amount of stock kept in Gypsy's private fridge of Swt #3 seeds obtained from Steve in bulk); they were not in original SOL packaging, although they WERE indeed from the SOL Swt 3 bulk stock. This entire situation was an attempt of this agent provocateur (fired) to create disharmony between Gypsy and a good breeder/supplier. Worked pretty well.

At any rate, Steve became enraged, made threats of violence against Gypsy and his staff, went on a real tangent dissing Gypsy all over multiple websites. Gypsy's attempts to explain what 'really' transpired' fell on Steve's deaf ears....he's a bit of a hothead as most who know him are aware.

Sooooooo, Steve refuses to sell to Gypsy and chooses only to diss him for something Gypsy had nothing to do with (and would have NEVER condoned had Gypsy been present). Steve continued to make physical threats of violence against Gypsy, his staff, and shops for the better part of 3 years.

Maybe one day Steve will stop and reflect on all this and see that he was wrong to blame Gypsy for something he had nothing to do with, other than Gypsy having poor judgement in hiring a vermin to handle seed orders when he was away.

This is going back 3 years now....quite old news.

This is why the seeds obtained in the private bulk purchase from Steve are labeled 'Sweet Tooth #3 Inspected from Bulk' and 'Adventurously Mixed 2nds (from bulk) simply because they are not packaged in original SOL packaging, although they were indeed obtained from Steve and are Steve's genetics, which is something Steve can't possibly deny.

Many Swt #3's and Blockheads from the bulk lots have even made their way into gardens around the globe as freebies.

Steve has some good varieties, no one questions that. Would be more than happy to carry his varieties on Seedbay and SeedBoutique, if he'd just sit down with an open mind....and not his hot headed temper....and see the forest for the trees.

Gypsy doesn't hold any grudges against Steve for his reaction, it's clear that Steve was being fed alot of misinformation...and was merely trying to protect the integrity of his 'breeder packaged' seeds.

So I'm not going to permit this thread to continue because it will only eventually attrack troll posts. You've been given the explanation as to why there are no new varieties from SOL....let's just leave it at that and hope Steve comes around to his senses one day and sees how silly this whole thing really is.
