Hi fellow icer's

I have a question with regards to making canna butter, the problem i have is im allergic to butter, so i was wondering could i use margarine like flora instead of butter to make my canna margarine instead of butter? also if im using margarine would i make my canna margarine in the same way as i would canna butter? many thx all

theoretically, it should work.....
however, ive never seen it done. any work you do would be considered 'experimental'

Many thx ethereal b4 i decide to experiment (lol) im gonna wait and see if i get a reply from any1 who has tried as i wouldnt want to waste my quality home grown if all went wrong, but hey if i dont get no more replys i will give it a go so keep ya eyes posted

the first couple times I made butter I experimented with different combinations, probably b/c I didn't have enough butter at the time or forgot to buy some at the store, but I do remember the time I tried to use some country crock as filler it didn't turn out good at all. The key to making cannabutter is using butter, b/c it will resolidify at the top when you put it in the fridge. When I used the crock it didn't solidify, but became like oily sludge.

I say try using oil and low heat, sautee your good trim/lower buds in some oil and use that in the brownie mix. strain the leaf matter before cooking obviously, i've never done this method, but its the same concept as the butter but quicker and a little more sensitive to error, you don't want the oil too hot, just enough to dissolve those crystals were really after

turkey baster/seperatory funnel or a vacume pump
would work if ya really wanted..but yeah, resolidifying it may not go over too well :(

techically its not supposed to work very well with margarine... you might look into makeing some oil, like get some nice olive oil or something and try that... should have a high enough fat content to work for you. i guess most of the problem with margarine is that it never really gets very solid after you cook it... just kinda stays like an oiley mush...

I would have to disagree with using margerine, I have seen a few people say it is the natural fat content of the butter that allows it to assimilate the thc. I used European butter this last time around 5-10% higher fat content and it made the best butter I have had yet.
I agree with the oil, try to double boil it with some oil or use a crockpot then use the oil to cook with.
