a friend of mine , sprouted a 5 year old mix , which contained Blue Domino and such ... had 100% germ after 7 days .... , so i guess if those kerns were stored properly , you shouldnt have problem´s . in case they were stored at the bay , everything will be just fine

have fun

SB has received no complaints regarding inferior germ rates on Swt #3 or Adventurously Mixed SOL seeds.

Doing a germ test on both now. Last germ test a few months ago was 90%. They have most definitely been properly stored. Seeds in storage are routinely germ tested, so whoever is claiming to have had less than good results either 1) didn't store or germ correctly; or 2) has another reason for wanting to diss the inventory.

Thanks!

Yeah I'm with the cap. and DG- I've never had a problem with refrig. stored st#3's or Adv. mix. In the absolute worst case maybe 9 out of 10 sprout! Try using distilled water and a paper towel. Keep them damp not wet and around 70-80 degrees and watch out !!!!

ive been having problems with em,...i planted as soon as i recevied them so storage isnt an issue,...so far i have had 2 out of 14 pop through the surface,...about half of em cracked open but then they stopped with the root tail just barely exposed, the rest havent cracked open,...goin on over 2 weeks now maybe closer to 3....
i threw some of the Mango x Gum freebies in and they all popped within 3 days so i dont think environmental factors are the culprit either,...i just planted some bagseeds to test and see if they pop as well...maybe i just got real unlucky i dunno,...not tryin to dis yer stuff DG,...just being honest with what im experiencing....

so you didnt even soak them in water or use the paper towel method? just planted them straight in the dirt? that might be why they did not pop...

Thanks!
Today, Oct 10, 7pm and we have this from 2 randomly selected packs from Swt#3 and Adv Mix inventory:

Swt#3 germ progress (10 seeds started Oct 9, 4pm): 27 hours later; 6 white tails so far....4 appear to be emerging but not 'out' yet.

Adv Mix germ progress (15 seeds started Oct 9, 4pm): 27 hours later; 11 white tails so far...4 appear to be emerging but not 'out' yet.

I expect nothing less than stellar germ rates from these 2 lots, has been just over 24 hours, will check them again tomorrow. Stay tuned for pics at that time.
