Greetings from Korea!! - OG/ Cannabisworld Refugees - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums

Hey all!

I hope that some of you guys remember me. About a year ago I joined the U.S. Army. Alot of things led to this decision, mainly legal troubles and a lucrative probation officer. Long story short, I am now here in Korea. I posted alot about it back in October, and shipped off to Basic Training in November. 4 months of training and I deployed to South Korea. I am a M1A1 Abrams Tank Driver. We are located 12 miles south of the DMZ. Shit here really is crazy, we have alerts all the time, the work is hard and pay is shitty. Although I kind of regret my decision, mostly the no pot part, but I am proud to be serving my country..

I recently got married about a month ago to the most beatiful philippina in the world, so maybe there was a reason for things to turn out as they did.

Anyway, I heard about OG getting busted maybe in May or June, and finally got my ass over to ICMAG to start posting again. I sure miss OG, there was certainly a sense of community and everybody was so willing to help everybody. I especially miss everybody from the Texas Headz Creq [THC] -- I was a founding member and we all stuck together and helped each other out immensly. It hurts deep inside just to think that all of that info and knowledge and community is all destroyed because of corrupt, hypocritical laws. Something must be done. And to think that I am fighting and employed by that same government that inflicted this injustice.... It makes me sick You live you learn I guess. March 2009 I am out, with benefits to make it worth it, although still more bullshit than the average stoner can ever imagine.

Anyway, just thought I would check in and let everybody know how I am doing. I hope that everybody else is haning in there!!!

yes, it's too bad about OG. Perhaps it'll return in the future.
