Well it has been a long, hot, DRY , summer for me so far

Still have about 4 week to go until my next harvest, and I may have to break down and purchase some buds, as I seem to have miscalculated my daily needs

This would SUCK as it would end my near 4 year streak of being self sufficent. Here are a couple of of my last buds, and one of the plants I'm waiting on.

The big bud is SSH, I luv this stuff one of the best strains ever, and you better belive that you will be seeing a ton of it once my garden is back up to speed. The little bud is some Budda Kush from a friend, very nice indica dom smoke, If I ever get tired of my Garlic Bud or Hogs Breath I may give this one a go. Last up is a top shot of my lone A11 girl, that limped through the plauge that hit my garden. Hope she smokes ok, as she will be the first plant I pull at the end of the month.

Beautiful SSH. What a great strain. You hardly ever hear about it nowadays but I love both SSH and SH and Silver Pearl.

Yea, I also underestimated my smoking potential this cycle. Shorted myself at least one jar. I put in an order for some store bought yesterday. Damn that stuff is expensive.

SSH is one of my favorites. what camera do you use? you mentioned garlic bud and hogsbreath... did you get the hogsbreath as a clone or is it the hogsbreath pheno of The Hog from thseeds? the hb pheno is some damn fine smoke too. ahhhh garlic bud, we grew that one in the late 80's/ early 90's again thats some damn fine smoke. sounds like you have a nice collection of tasty buds.

Just for you OldSog, here's a cross of Columbian Skunk with garlic bud. The first pic shows fresh cut in a bowl and the second a single bud now dried and in natural light. Tastes like garlic and has a great up buzz!

Very good all around strain, with a nice sative high, in around 8 weeks of flower. I'll be posting up my new flower room shots in a couple of weeks, when I really have somethin to show

Four Fingers - I gotta say, that I'm usually spot-on with my rationing. Problem is I had about a 3 week vacation with much higher than normal consumption, I get better than average pricing on my purchased bud, but DAMN!!!! it still cost about 3 times what I'm use to paying

OldSog - My camera of choice is the Minolta Dimage 7i SLR. As far as current mothers, I've got a few. I spent my month of room rebuilding acquiring clones of some of my favorite strains. In addition to SSH (GH '00) and Garlic Bud (SSSC '87). I have Hog's Breath, the original SoCal clone; Sag's BubbleBerry, Santa Maria, Rez's BottleRocket (one of his best), and SourQueen, S.A.G.E, and my current favorite Shrom (Columbian x Romulan). My goal this year is to cut my number of moms to 5, so I can start growing out some of the seed strains I have yet to try.

Actually I plan to run Rez's Apollo Trip next to see how it stacks up against the strait A11.

Dr.J those buds look fan-fucking-tastic, making my mouth water. How much of the garlic taste smell is left in the cross? What I luv about my Garlic Bud is the smell, even in veg it is unmistakable - GARLIC!! :p

LOL, I did a quick taste of a lower bud that just dried (not cured). The taste is all the way garlic, actually like day old garlic. Still, it is very smooth and kicks some major butt :-)

awesome pix. man do i miss the garlic bud. around the same time we grew kushXkush that i think came from sssc. that stuff was the strongest bud i ever smoked. i just picked up a Nikon coolpix 4300 and once i figure out how to take decent pix i'll post some shots of SSH, Hog(hogsbreath pheno) and some slighty hermie HDF. my SSH is oldschool GreenHouse genetics back from when they one the cup. a very good friend got them directly from GreenHouse the year after it won it's 1st cup. she's an 8weeker that is just awesome. i have firecracker beans from Rezdog that will be getting germed soon.
how's the S.A.G.E? does it actually taste like sage? my wife's friend gave her a few buds that didn't look overly impressive, a little on the leafy side but this stuff tasted exactly like a sage plant.
