open or closed?

is my skunk ibl thread gonna be open or closed? it can't be open one minute and closed the next.....it was closed so i couldn't write anything....then it opened so i spent 30 minutes writing and posting pics and i go to submit and it's closed again....what a waste of time.

should i just move it to another forum then? nothing worse then spending the little time i do have on writing a big long update, replys, and posting pics then i lose it all because it's locked.

I certainly know what Bub is talking about. Many people think they know what skunk is but the true fact is, the skunk plant that they thought was skunk actually was'nt a skunk plant. An good example is, back around 8 years ago, I had a plant that reeked of rk skunk, and many people thought it was the real deal rk skunk, but I knew it was'nt because I was the one that breed it.
It was actually a 98' ssh x 98' blue moonshine. I had this one rare pheno that poped out from 1 out of a 100 plant. It stunk like rk skunk even in grow. I had to shut down my operation due to one of my friends in my circle got busted. I tried to save the plant by giving it to one of my buddys but it did not survive. His hen ate the top of the clone right before his eye and killed the last remaining clone of that pheno. He killed the hen after that because he loved that plant soo much. My point is the rk skunk people remember might not even be a true blue rk skunk but just a luck hybrid like many of these clone only strains.

TT

well i guess this weekend i'll just start over in the indoor growing forum then, anyone that was following along is welcome to come over and join me.....the thing is that the "rk pheno" we are looking for is rare, thats quite obvious otherwise everyone that wants it would have it if it was simple to find or get. i do believe it is in the original skunk line but it might have to be crossed back to a super stinky afgahn...thats the reason i'm making thousands of seeds of HTC skunk and the pure.....people give up to easily thinking they should find it in 10-20 plants....even when breeders try to find the perfect pheno or what they are looking for they make selections from 100's if not 1000's of plants.....it's impossible to judge a strain before it's even done....alot can change from a half done plant to the end of flowering....they even change from when you pick them until they are dry and smokable.....i'm not giving up because i have 2 phenos that have smelled skunky since 10-14 days of veg....i've grown many strains and definatly know what skunky is.....peace

I dont think bub would mind if you started up a new thread here, as long as it remained civil. Would hate to have to swim through the dozens of grows on the indoor forum to keep up w/ your skunk grow. As always, you can do what you want though.

Sorry, was screwing around with the thread controlls before I logged out yesterday, didnt mean to close it again.

sorry for the mixup

growgirl.. Theres no reason for me to mislabel anything, I definetly havent ripped anyone off.. I suggest you finish yer grow before you make yer final decision, and youll see it grows extremely uniform to its description..

Peace folks. bub.

Grow girl sometimes, the grower just doesnt know or hmm understand what it takes to bring out full potential in the plants genes. Its a learning process, now I dont have a clue to what your skills are, first, second, 10th, 100th grow you're on, but I'm going to go on a limb and asssume its one of your first. You maybe growing indoors, or outdoors I dont know havent read your posts Just assuming its probably indoors.
Things too me that just cause the plants too be bland are things like cheap fertilizers, and organic fertilizers with too much nitrogen. Usually thats it for me. Too much emulsions like fish fertilizers, miracle grow overdone. There a too many to list. People always assume that since they have the strain, thats it. You are done, it doesnt matter what you feed it the outcome should be as stated. When in fact having the strain is probably 1 quarter genetics and 3 quarters grower ability to bring out full potential in the plants. Try feeding it weakly, and if you could somehow drop your humidity in your plants grow area and shorten their nitrogen intake and you will probably have a hard time controlling smell. Nitrogen ferts are the blandest smelling ferts usually. Too much makes weed tastes like swimming pool water in a smokeable form in flavor if that makes any sense, bland. Read learn, then read some more you will probably wish you never doubted the strains.
