Bogglegum f2s - Mastergown Seeds
High everyone!
I have recently put a limited number of Bogglegum f2 seeds up for auction on Seedbay @ a "buy now" price of $45. I will be happy to answer any questions about these seeds here, or via PM. This description covers the basics: "Bogglegum has always been one of the most popular strains in the BOG line-up, and no wonder! A cross of Bogbubble and Northern Lights, Bogglegum is very easy to grow, early, and quite stable. Hard, frosty nuggets, exotic sweet flavor, and of course, the potency that BOG strains are famous for. Classic Indica form and stone. Ideal SOG plant, but also good in a "bush" grow. These seeds were produced for sale w/ BOG's permission. He only asked that they not be misrepresented and that they would sell for less than his originals (thus, the low price). He also said that there would be no noticeable difference between the f2s and the originals due to the stability of the strain. These seeds are top quality, organically grown, and in limited supply. -Mastergrow " These are pics of plants that I grew out of this very seed this past summer: This is a bud from the seed mother:

Thats a good idea, curious?
Everyone who has grown Bogglegum knows exactly what there getting, but you didnt mention anything on "How" you made the F2's. Did you use a squat male or a lanky one, did you use a female that showed preflowers pretty quick or was it one that took 4-5 weeks to show? Did you pollinate a few females or just one? Back in the OG days Bog would show us pics of the selected M/F in the "Love Chamber" for the new batches of Bogglegum, it was inspireing none the less. I was lucky enough to pick up one of the last packs before SB sold out, but others who didnt get so lucky might jump on your wagon if you give a little more info then just " $45 for 10 F2's" |

High GG...
The mother was darker green, and slightly taller than most female BGs I have grown. She was shootin' out pistils after 2days of 12/12, and was already quite resinous after 10 days. Father was thick-stemmed and short/stocky, and also early to flower. Mother was harvested @ 49 days. The pics above of their offspring are @ 45 days. Unfortunately, I didn't have my digicam yet when the parents were alive. - Mastergrow

Hi Mastergrow
Most of the Bogglegum I have grown has been short and bushy with the occasional extreme pheno that will kick your ass. How many of these f2's have you grown out? What would we expect to see, and whats the germ rate? Is that all that will be posted on Seedbay? Enquiring minds would like to know. |

Hey folks
ML37... I have not smoked Bogbubble. Tester... I germed 10 seeds, and all produced healthy plants. I got 4 females out of the 10 plants... one of which is the one pictured. The mother BG I used was, IMHO, one of the extreme phenos you mention. As mentioned before, she was darker and a little taller than her counterparts. She had a sturdy structure, but grew much narrower w/ amazing resin production. I think I forgot to mention previously that the parents of these seeds were vegged 35 days @ 18/6. - Mastergrow

45 dollars seem pretty expensive when the originals were like only 55 or 60 dollars. Plus the parent choices were all made from one pack of seeds ?? oh wait I think Bog bred lifestar all from one pack... or wait was it five seeds

I have to agree.
When I saw the f2's available I thought about getting a pack to play around with, but not for a price so close to the originals. To me that is just trying to take advantage of the market.

Well folks, I'm sorry that everybody thinks that my seeds are overpriced. Do you think I'm getting rich off this? Well here's somethings you may not know...
I am a small time closet grower w/ close to 35 yrs exp growing weed, and yes, I did get lucky to find such a nice mom from one pk of seeds. I usually just make enough seed for my own use, but this mom looked so nice, so early, that I decided to make a few more than usual. Turned out, that I got way more seeds than expected, w/ a very high percentage being of high quality. I gave seeds to all my "grow buddies", and even donated 20 pks to Seedbay for freebies, but I still had quite a few left. I figured I'd grow some out, and maybe donate more for freebies or a charity auction down the road. Around this time Seedbay "went down", and about 2 months later, my wife was diagnosed w/ breast cancer. She is fine now thank God, but she was off work for 4 months and we still have med bills coming in. I thought to myself "too bad Seedbay's still down, a little extra cash from those BG seeds would really help us out"....BOG had already given me permission to sell or donate these seeds. I would never hope to profit from the original breeder's painstaking work w/o their ok. When Seedbay came back up, I contacted Seedbay Support about a possibly selling my seeds in a benefit auction (I used to have quite a few friends @ IC), or just a standard auction. "Just a little cash to help out w/ the bills" was all I was thinking. I learned that Seedbay was no longer doing charity/benefit auctions. They said that I could sell them @ standard auction. First, I challenge anyone to copy/paste an current ad selling Original Bogglegum for less than $99 for 12 seeds...if you can find them at all. Second, these seeds are worth every bit of $45, and if you don't agree, guess what? You don't have to buy 'em! Mastergrow (price gouger)
