Looking forward to seeing your grow!

I thought Hammer had just posted that he was still testing this cross but when I saw the pack in your post, my eyes passed over the word test in your post, I got excited and went to see if I could buy a pack lol.

Yeah, just a test for now, I don't think they are for sale just yet... but you can ask the man himself.
These will be my first haze crosses, and I'm really excited about what I might find! Most of my strains are pretty couch-locky, so maybe I'll find a nice daytime smoke.

Thanks fellas, welcome aboard! It may be a little difficult to see, but all have taps except two. I'll put the eleven in plain coco, and leave the remaining two in the paper towel for another day. :jump:

Twelve of the thirteen are up.

There are proportionately larger amounts of excess embryonic membrane left inside the seed shells. Maybe because they are so new, and storing starch for longevity...? In any case, as much as I've ever seen. Almost enough for another set of cotyledons! Interesting, because the seeds were pretty small - about 1/8".

LOL, See how badly I count by hand. I thought I only put in 10. No these are just in testing right now. Did you get 100% germ rate ?.. So far 100% germ rates from others. 1 seeds took a few days longer to pop tail. It might take longer for some to crack. .

Shoot I missed that, yeah 100% germ and now all above ground.
4-5 have developed weak stems about an inch from the coco, and fell over. I propped them back up with a wire and replaced the dome. I think it might be too dry for them in here without the dome (with lows <50%), and I'm sure the mini fan didn't help:( hopefully I caught them in time... Most are still going well, it just happened last night.

The ones that did, look like they may have damped off. So, I'm thinking I over watered. There are six that still look good, but my seedling skills seem to have left me... I've never killed this many seedlings in a row. Not doing great:(

I would suspect a humidity issue coupled with a mold/ fungus spore. The domes are useful for increased humidity when cloning, but that same humidity can cause issues like your seeing with tender/fragile seedlings.
After they emerge from soil, the dome becomes a liability

Not your fault it was doomed from the beginning i knew soon as i seen hammer put 13 seeds in the pack...its just a unlucky number... I kid of course but yeah ive never used a dome on seedlings good advice from redlaser.. chin up get some more and try again...

I'd bet is Damping-off. It doesn't always manifest at the soil line. It will attack the weakest section of the seedling. In most cases, it's the soil line because it's always wet. Since those were bent at that section it went after that area. It's always better to keep your medium dryer IMO. It's all good We learn from our mistakes, next time you won't do the same. When I get seedlings that stretch a lot, I will just repot and bury most of the stem, just be careful not to break it. Don't let them continue to stretch. I just did 2 Ohaze that stretched too much. Now just the leaves are at the surface. Anyway keep at it we still have 6 :D
