Nirvana Haze #1

I was doing some window shopping at True North seed bank, browsing their Haze selections, I came upon this listing:

https://www.truenorthseedbank.com/ha...-nirvana-seeds

I am a Haze head, blissfully traumatized at a young age by that Haze strain out of NY(or wherever it comes/came(?) from). Im always looking for haze(s) and hybrids. I have never grown Gypsies Hazes, have only heard good things, have grown other Gypsie strains with good results in the past.

My question:

Anyone have any insight if these might be an older stock? New?(unlikely, right?). Or any experience with this seed bank?

I don't have any experience with Haze #1 from Nirvana, to be honest I never even heard of it. True North on the other hand are legit. I can point you in the right direction if you are seeking the NYC Haze from back in the day

True North is legit but I have heard that their shipping has slowed down due to Covid & their 4/20 Sale. What was usually a week was taking a month etc . . .

Re Nirvana, I have only grown one of their strains - bought from TN - recently & successfully btw - but it was the Maui fem.

nirvana haze is old Positronics haze, as their breeder worked for Positronics back in the day, it is dutch haze, nothing to do with nyc uptown..

I'm also reading in some descriptions that the amnesia haze is just their haze #1 renamed. I don't know how accurate this is but would'nt mind some insight or clarity if this is correct as all the distributors I can get haze#1 don't have stock and wouldn't mind giving a few beans a go.

I'm missing huge chunks of info on all these NYC haze cuts, where is the best place to try and understand the cuts and companies working on them? I'm only finding small bits of info on them on the forums and would appreciate some guidance here on where to reap up properly on them.

Nirvana has some good in the catalog, but haze is definitely not one of them, as Maha told you is posi original haze, with another name ... and what's worse is that it is definitely hybrid, I have seen it grow a couple of years ago, broad leaves like an indica skunk, definitively not haze...
