Just finishing an indoor micro grow of Haze Special for Xmas stash. Really impressed, nice thin 9 fingered sativa fan leaves in the top half of the plants, good yield and and pretty fast. Got a bit of foxtail due to a lack of cooling, but I quite like that, all the calyxes in the foxtails are frosty. It's probably the best indoor sativa I have grown, I normally do hybrids like SK#1 and Widow, but the Haze Special has opened my eyes to something different.

Haze Special is one of the best sativas ever! I grew some years ago and it was just pure thc.

this threads 2004 lol..just a heads up .i bought some just prior to this and none germed nore the northen lights special ...lots of reported problems at the time ...not sure how fresh any offerings would be now

The Haze Special beans I popped for my micro grow were older than this thread. Put 4 seeds in a moist paper towel, got 3 females and 1 male. I guess it's how the seeds have been stored, these were in their original pack in the bottom of an old fridge for over 14 years. I did make some f2s which I am going to play around with next year.

Hopefully a can fix the damage from a leaked battery in my camera by then and get some pics.

In the meantime, here is one from 2001 just finishing stretch in early flower, about 22" tall when photo was taken, a 2 foot fluro behind it as a reference point. You can see the 9 fingered fan leaves.

I just harvested 3 Haze Specials

the third picture was hard yielding with more than 100 g under 600 W
and the smell is amazing - sweet and hazey. The first picture was a haze dominant phenotype and a pain in the ass to harvest with all these leaves. Last picture is very narcotic in the high unlike the first twos which are good to think about stuff with an euphoric beginning.
