now before i get flamed for not using the search feature, please, spare me, i just want a couple of opinions here

i've researched the various ways to make hash (presses, bubble hash, etc.). i even read the entire IC article where gypsy went to morocco to see how hash is made in large quantities, like 8 times.

i have about 4 grams of kif which i have obtained through the use of the kif screen in my grinder. now i want to make hash out of it. it seems to me that it isn't necessary to go through the process of making ice/bubble hash because i already have extracted the thc from the plant material. so if i'm correct then the best way to make hash is to take two pieces of wax or parchment paper, place the kif in between, and iron it on low heat until i can roll it into a ball.

basically what i'm asking for is various opinions on what the best way to make hash is with my kif crystals.

the reason i want to make hash out of my kif instead of just placing it on bowls is beacause i just got a very nice RooR Dealer's Cup bong, and i'd like to smoke hash out of it, which to me seems easier than smoking kif out of it.

please provide any advice you can. thanks!

Heat and pressure, sounds like you got it. You could just roll it into a flat shape instead of a ball, with a bottle of hot water.

or you could wrap the kif in parchment paper put it in the heel of your shoe and the warmth and pressure fromy your foot will make a nice dark hash...

whatever you do make sure you put the hash/parchment in the freezer for a couple of hours to make sure you dont get the melted chocalate bar effect.

You already have hash.
'kif' 'crystals' or trichomes don't have to be pressed to be hash.

Unpressed hash is the best in bongs. just use a screen.

The easiest way to press it, would be to put the 'kif' in your palm and work it with your thumb, if you need to you can use a bit of heat from a lighter to make it easier.

most peeps view hash as kif which is pressed AND heated whenever the two are used in the same contextual sentence..but i guess TF is technically right..kif is a prep of "hash"

4 grams..yea..as TF said..ghetto hand hash easiest way...fucks your palms but for that amount..its cool....or buy a small hash press/make your own...simple press design...your guess is as good as mine...could use a bottle with hot water in it as in OG trichome tech bubble hash directions...heard of using hammers or putting in your shoe...bah

me..i like KIF ore than hash--perhaps kif thats been lightly compressed or bub thats been clumped to dry...but def always unheated..kif burns quicker--denser hits=higher imo...hash has its charm--especially when aged..but to each his own..

my roor came with a hash screen (lil metel micro-ladle looking thing)...things worth fuckall...so is the stock bowl...unless you like bowls which yield 20 "ass" hits per pack..i like 'green hits'..soooo...less is more...

~.2g per bowl..2 hits--bowls flushed--pack on kif if you have it~
