Outdoor Harvesting and Drying
HIGH!
well, i've always done my outdoor a certain way and it has seemed to work out, but i've been reading a lot of otherwise content. here is what i do: 1. i take my big tupperware to the site and chop down into managable sized branches 2. I trim all large fanleaves that have no trichromes 3. I hang and dry in my closet until the stems snap 4. I trim all close leaves and shake the leaves with a kiff box (i have no bubble hash making methods). 5. I paperbag the buds until just right, then i put them in a jar what do y'all think? how would you modify my process, and why? peace |

sounds right on, I like to trim completely before drying though(easier). #6 would be curing of course. My 2 cents

Trim the buds close while they are still fresh off of the plant. This goes quicker and you lose fewer trichromes. Trim as many of the fan leaves in the garden as you can. This will make the rest of the trimming go quicker.

Yeah for sure. You can just save the trim and dry it also, maybe on a cake rack or something.
I've read some pretty easy-sounding bubblehash methods with just a jar, trim, and some ice-water. Haven't tried any myself yet, so you'll have to do some research

have you tried freezing your trim before shaking it over the kif box in order to make the trichs more fragile so mosre of them snap off? if not give it a shot
