vic highs supersoil mix?

hi all. does anybody know if this mix is for vegging and flowering or just for flowering. if it is for vegging then how many weeks of veg is it for? my hydro shop gave me the mix and said not to put seedlings or freshly rooted clones in this composted mix b/c it is to strong.
the thing i like about this mix is that according to my hydro shop pal is that with this mix you dont need anything but straight water (similar to the moonshine mix) and you dont even have to adjust the PH b/c the "living soil" will adjust everything on its own. now that to me is cool.
the only prob i see with this mix is that i believe it is designed with a vegging period and since you can only put well established plants in this mix that ends up being a long veg period b/c a plant from seed isnt well established until it is about three weeks old so now you have a plant that is three weeks into veg and once you transplant into the supersoil you have to veg it for im guessing another four weeks to make sure the plants use up the veg ferts in the soil so in total you have roughly 7-8 weeks of veg to contend with. any help with this would be awesome. thanks.

n-p-k

i just came looked at the n-p-k value for the ingredients in this mix using epsoma products and it seems more like a veg mix cause it looks low in phosphorus and potash.
wormcastings 1-0-0
dried blood 12-0-0
bone meal 4-12-0
kelp meal 1-0-2

what if i used pre mixed amendments

i was thinking instead of using these amendments couldnt i just usa couple bags of rainbow mix bloom or peace of mind fruit&flower instead to ensure a mix that is more balanced. either way the mix is going to have to be composted right?

i wish i could make a mix that i could start seedlings in that had enough ferts for veg and bloom and still used straight water that didnt need to be PH adjusted. basically a mix with a strong enough ecosystem to self adjust the PH but also a mix with enough ferts for veg and bloom that wouldnt burn delicate seedlings or clones. now that would be sweet.

cant i just throw some rainbow mix grow in the promix along with some extra perlite, wormcasting, and inoculants and then just put the seeds in that mix and give straight water. that should provide enough food for at least the first 4-6 weeks of veg right?

you are correct treegrower. I wouldn't mix it that hot for seedlings, clones maybe. The raindow mix is all organic and their grow is balanced with all kinds of stuff. I use the FF Fruit and flower but switch to Indo guano for flower or use the Phos. only in the FF Peace of Mind. Yes, compost the mix for 2 wks or more. With what you have use....

promix, wormcastings, kelp meal. get some mushroom compost and you could add either the rainbow mix by tablespoon or add the admendments you listed earlier the same way.
