Butter from iso oil

How many grams of iso oil would you guys recomend for a stick of butter? Will my cooking time be shorter? Any advise cooking with oil instead of plant matter would be great. Thank you.

Damn, I'd smoke the oil.

The ration of fat per cannabinoids is something I have often wondered.

I believe you can attach a greeeat deal of cannabinoids to the fat molecules hence why I would smoke the oil.

Are you trying to just have really clean butter?

I can't call myself an expert, but I usually figure on twice as much THC-source for eating as smoking no matter whether it's herb or oil. I've used oil to make butter a couple times.

I don't know the answer to that, but you should try quality moonshine or "Everclear" which is commercial pure grain alcohol, and follow same procedure as ISO. However I would reccomend natural evap. of the alcohol, as heating pure grain alcohol could prove insane indeed. I know that with grain alcohol, if brewed in proper way, not using dirty old radiators etc. there is no worry of "other chemicals" poisoning your final product. Best bet if you don't have a trusted source of grain alcohol, is to use the "everclear".

I have no idea how much iso per stick of butter....but I'd imagine you could just put the ISO straight on whatever food you're eating like a sort of dip and that would get you super duper baked. MMmmm....chips and ISO....

Someone is saying it is dangerous to eat ISO though, I have no idea.

Ahh...that eating ISO oil is dangerous bullcrap should not be taken seriously. The amounts of toxic chemicals..that ''might'' be in ISO oil are so tiny that it wont matter. We consume far more crap daily from our food, air, water..you name it...

Cool

I don't know anything about the impurities in Iso, but the grain alcohol is higher % alcohol by volume (nearly pure) and would pull more THC etc. out of the weed with less alcocol used overall. although price is definately a factor to consider. many people, including myself, only eat whole foods, and don't put anything artificial into our bodies; so just for the sake of having confidence there is no other impurities I use the grain alcohol. Was the way I was taught.
