i think there is no "too long" unless your soil starts to mold or something. in fact i think the longer the better

i thought that leaving it for such a long time would make it too hot and burn newborns?

Hot is relative to what your describing,

when a mix is composting there is a heat phase where a quick spike in the microherd population cause actual HEAT and the composting material will actually get hot.

Hot also refers to the amount of ferts availble in the soil, if there are alot then it will burn the seedlings that don't need much in term of ferts as they are small.

C for seedling just use alot of vermiculite and some perlite make it

vermiculite 1/3
perlite 1/3
composted soil 1/3

this way ferts are only 1/3 as availble and the seedlings get what they need which at this stage is water more than anything else.

Plain Promix before ammending with 50% perlite is best for the seedling stage.

So C how are those testers comming along????

my tea's ph is about 5.9 -6.0 but the plant still isnt able to absorb any. once it was green again after i was feeding it the bottled water, i started feeding it the tea and it has progressively gotten yellow again so i am dumbfounded.

well the beneficials in the soil will live above freezing and rejuvinate when you bring them inside and use them so that's ok, as long as the initial composting was taken care of while temps were still nominal (summer/fall wheather).
You can bring it indoors just wet it lightly, it just has to be moist not drenched.

C list me everything you put in that tea and what you did, tea work if well brewed period.
The ph of the tea sounds fine, have you tried making the tea with bottled water, I still think your source of water is a problem.

yes, the tea was made with bottled water. i forget the exact measurements, but it was something like 2 tbs/ gal of seaweed because i dont have any kelp to put in at the moment, 1 tbs of molasses, 1 tbs each of fulvic and humic acids, blood meal and ewc and im not really sure but i might have put some high p guano in there aswell... i didnt bubble it for 24 hours to get the chlorine out because my bottled water i believe is un chlorinated . i bubbled it for 2 days (48 hrs) before i fed it to the plant.

il see if the exact measurements are in my pm's i have recieved from you...

i found this in my ph testing thread:

skip the guano until later in flowering
seing as it's a small batch skip the tea bag and just mic everyting together an brew it 24hrs-48hrs.
thats what i followed so i guess i didnt use the guano after all.
