Where are our Moderators?

I was just wondering where our moderator is? Organic Soil has no stickys at all. There are a few people who take the time and answer all the same questions over and over. Like Suby,Sproutco,Burnone and a few others. They should not be doing this over and over again. I think it would help all the new subscribers to IC. They could fill their heads with the info off the stickys and move on from there. Organic Hydro has tons of stickys. I go there to learn of some usable products but that is Hydro and we are Soil. What does everyone else think? Am I wrong to ask this?

I think each of most of the forums have a certain few people who predominantly hang around that forum answering questions. Hell, I actually avoid some of em because of the resident lurkers. Organic soil just doesn't get enough traffic. Maybe it would help to change it to general Organics, including Organic Hydro in the same forum. I very rarely read stickies at all for some reason, not sure why. LoL wow I don't think I had ever checked Organic Hydro till just now and it does have a friggin lot of stickies. More crap to scroll past every time one reads the forum.

stickys are not crap... whats crap is newbees asking the same questions again and again rather than searching or checking the stickys! if organic soil had stickys the "lurkers" could have more time to better themselves by learning and doing rather than answering questions like "is PBP orgainc?" "how much (insert organic amendment here) should i use?" or especially those hard to pinpont Ph issues

Ncogneato will become famous soon enough
Yeah, your right. I can't count how many 'soil mix' threads I've seen on here and they are all the same. It would be nice if they would try the search button but I think stickies would be effective. I would personally like to see some nute stickies kinda like what organic hydro has.

I agree I'm going nuts with answering the soil mix questions alone but I do with a smile here because there are no stikies or threads worth being a stiky for that matter.
I'm not sure how we go about putting info together for a sticky or who would write or what info we would post but it would be a help, alot of good info gets lost in all these threads.
I have close to 500 posts and only a few are in the TDen, most are here playing the repeater, it's all good though 'cause you guys are cool.

I guess if you want a sticky...then contact a mod for the organic forum, and ask if they would be interested in something you write to qualify as a sticky. Submit the article...and if it's worthy...I'm sure they would do it.

I'm sure great helpful folks like Suby could put together a great article for a sticky.

Cheers,
SH

I appreciate the props all, what if we where to take a diff. stance than having one person (like me) write an article ans sticky it, lets start a thread that is an answer all related to organics type thread where we could pool some info and the regualr users, that thread would most likely eventually lead up the sticky and keep all the gems we toss out and lose together.

Suby your information is detailed enough for a sticky. You should make a thread on how to make a soil mix and tea for organics your way. Make sure that it has been tested.

Even if your thread does not make the sticky list, you can put it in your signature for others to read and you can refer to it. Like "how to test soil ph" in my signature.
