University paper- flushing doesn't remove nutes from buds

Here's a link to a PDF. I can't copy and paste from pdf.

Basically they used 4 or 5 different flushing techniques.

No major difference of nutrient levels between the bud samples.

One pro from flushing is saving money on nutrients for last two weeks.

What does everyone think?

You mean delete the second post, not the thread, right?

So his conclusion is that irrigating with water only for the last two weeks doesn't change yield or quality. Second, that doing this doesn't reduce residual chemical levels in the final product?

Makes a 2 week flush a no brainer just in fertilizer costs. I've always thought the benefit of flushing was getting rid of chlorophyll and telling the plant the end was coming, so give it your best shot.

Lots of smarter people thinking about more important things than making drugs have put a lot of thought into growing plants.

Flushing is a myth? Only with pot growers who learnt off free internet forums. You cant smoke these peoples weed without getting an automatic vomit response (pouring water from mouth)
