I plan on growing some DC this fall. I've read that it's a very slow vegger. Would it be best to let it veg for like 2 months and then just let it flower normally? or does it do good topped, lst'd, or scrogged? I plan on running a scrog but I don't know if I want to scrog DC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

as Tom said, dont top, the plants branchin gets very spindly when toppin, prunin. of course i did it anyway, and the plant cant even hold up its popcorn. they get real raggety.

large, even over sized containers, watch for mag def, mid veg. almost cant over feed um. they definitly like a humid enviorment, as those big fans will curl up with dry air. there roots dont like it real wet though. DC i have goin right now, came up through the ground on june 24th(close to 3months) one is a anomily, and has been in flower for a few weeks, one is around 16/18 inches tall, and another is less then 12 inches.

veggin under fluros, they dont respond well in veg, last time i ran um they grew great under a 1K.

light makes a huge difference with these plants, they dont need to be right up under um, but they need alot of light, if ya understand what i mean.

Hey thanks Pike. So it's best to just let them grow and flower like normal. I'll probally end up growing them for 8 weeks before flowering. I just found a nice thread by Bub about Deep Chunk saying that after 60 days veg they start branching out alittle more.

It looks like I'm going to have to put my chunks in bigger pots due to that nice size root system.

Lookin forward to seein my Powerhouse (DC x C99) kick some ass next summer. Hopefully some of these drawbacks will be improved in the F1 hybrid.

Anyone know if Pike's alright?

pike changes faces every so often.. youll see him soon again Im shure. He's dropped offa couple boards.

DC is best grown with a nice long veg, but as all lines, can be bloomed in short order aswell.
extra airation, is ideal for indoor grows. I use 50% plus in my mediums for DC and some of her Hybrids.. lots of indicas seem to react well to looser than avg mediums imo.
more than adequate root space will reward you with growth aswell.
